Hichki Mumbai Kitchen

It was a last minute plan to get here for dinner on a weekday. We were 7 members and luckily we got straight through without any wait. The ambiance felt good, the attendants were quite helpful and quick. We ordered the food and it was delivered very quickly. The food definitely was tasty. Considering the location, the rates are also pretty much reasonable. In all, a definite recommendation if you are around.

Great place in the heart of Whitechapel. I've been here a few times, with family and with work. The food quality is great. Portion size can be small sometimes but generally, most dishes are very tasty. Really nice decor and plenty of space for big groups and work gatherings. Mens toilets are downstairs so can be a pain. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

After ordering the food took a bit of time and service was good, not quick but good, polite and excited service. Loved the food been there multiple times and it’s been a joy. Price is bit on expensive side definitely worthy for food and could be worthy for service if worked on it properly by hichki team. Must try pav bhaji i loved it.

Great atmosphere and place to sit, a smart restaurant. We are very familiar with Indian food and we still found their dishes really tasty and authentic. Loved the butter chicken and rogan josh lamb, very satisfying and flavourful. Would happily go again for those dishes. Normally easy to get a table.

We went there yesterday, it was great! Food was nice, different, the decor is beautiful, the stuff very helpful, it's family friendly as well as great to go with just your friends. We needed to pray and they were really accommodating and even put the music down. They didn't make us feel rushed, like we had to leave as soon as we ate. We were very comfortable and took our time. It was busy which is always great for a restaurant. Highly recommend it.

If you love biryani then this is the place for you. Their chicken biryani is the best followed by Mala restaurant in St Catherine's Dock. Chicken jalafrezi is the perfect combination. For starters, you must try the samosa chaat, masala chips and the chicken lollipop wings. Food comes really fast after you ordered. 5 stars for the food. 4 stars on service as the waiters could come round more often asking if we needed anything. 4 stars on atmosphere as they could have few classical Indian music in the background to go with the mood.

In the pictures shared the dishes are: Masala Dosa Tandoori Paneer and Chapati Butter Paneer and Naan The place is generally quite busy so the service is a bit slow, but the delicious food will make waiting worth it. They also have vegan and gluten free options. Variety of hot and cold drinks and a bar menu gives a lot of drinks options too.
