Assenheims 56!! As I work in Bank, I have this quite regularly for lunch. Chicken, rice and salad with the green sauce is absolutely fantastic. I don’t know what they put in the green sauce but WOW! Great place for your lunch if you work around Bank/Moorgate area. Reasonably cheap and a good size portion. I have one most weeks and they never fail. Highly recommend and they have discounts on Tuesdays (20% off if you order on Just Eat).

Such good value for lunch in the city - huge portion and you can get all of your macros in! Must get the green sauce with the famous chicken and rice combo. The queue is long though, try to get there at midday or the queue gets longer than butchers.

Tried the chicken sub and was pleasantly surprised, it was tasty and flavoursome. Will go back and try the box meal next. I prefer going when the queues have died down. A nice lunch spot that has halal chicken!

What can I say? Assenheims 56 is a south American chicken place that is a regular go to for me and my colleagues. We normally go atleast once a week sometimes more.
The amount of food you get, the taste and the fact it is all healthy (veg, rice, salad and chicken) are the reasons we all love it so much.
If you find yourself near an Assenheims 56 do yourself a favour and drop and try a chicken box. Make sure you get their special sauce!

Assenheims 56 is a gem in London! The South American-inspired dishes, particularly the green sauce chicken, are packed full of flavor. The staff are friendly and the service is quick, perfect for a lunch break. Moreover, the quality of the food is high and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

Great portion and the chicken is cooked nicely. Would love the option to get more variety rather than just two choices but still it’s a good option. Try to come before 12 or it’ll get too busy.

Got the large grilled marinated chicken with rice and mixed salad. Satisfied with the proportions but chicken was a bit dry. Likely to come back to try other items on menu.

Can get crowded during lunch times, place serves a roasted chicken chopped up and served with a choice of 2 sides. Got the roast veg and paprika rice with mixed sauces. Protein, carbs, fats, spice, what more could you want.

Visited Assenheims 56 for lunch takeaway today and it was great. I used to visit all 4 branches quite frequently when I was based in London regularly but now it has become a once a week thing. The food quality and quantities hasn't changed since I last had it in 2020 and it always satisfies. The green sauce is amazing with the chicken and rice, makes a perfect meal for a day in the office. The price has gone up staying true with the times we live in but the meal is worth what you pay for.

Chicken was really good. Vegetable selection consisted of a tub full of sliced carrots hiding an occasional courgette slice, so some more variety in the vege would be an improvement. I had the takeout chicken box, with vege and rice, and it was extremely tasty so I'd go here again. The photo may not look so appetising, but the flavours were great, with both the hot sauce and some of their mild green sauce alongside. Queue was out the door at lunchtime. The regular sized portion was generous.
