Souvlaki Guys

Today I went to @souvlaki.guys in #camberwell. @souvlaki.guys is a dark kitchen in a great location in a busy area. The actual inside is set up in a lovely way with 3 tables to sit down and enjoy the food on with a beautiful olive tree next to them, you truly feel like you’re in Cyprus 😍 @souvlaki.guys kindly gave me a Lamb Souvlakia with their special @souvlaki.guys sauce, Feta Chips & Crispy Mac & cheese Bites. The lamb souvlaki was absolutely gorgeous, the lamb was cooked to perfection and you could truly tell how good the quality of the meat is too! The salad was lovely snd fresh the pitta beautiful and warm and the @souvlaki.guys own homemade sauce was just gorgeous it really complimented the lamb souvlaki with a lovely sweet tangy sauce- an absolutely beautiful souvlakia ! The Crispy Mac & cheese bites were amazing. To start off with I thought they were croquettes. I’ve never ever seen Mac & cheese inside like that. Lovely deep fried Mac & cheese absolutely scrumptious and the breadcrumbs went so nicely with the filling 😋 finally the chips.. once again, I’ve never ever seen chips loaded with feta before but I thought this was an amazing touch ! The feta and chips really went so well together and really did give them that Mediterranean taste ! The chips were lovely and crispy and not over cooked or undercooked. All in all an amazing meal, fabulous food, amazing flavours... I’ll definitely be back again that’s for sure. Really enjoyed this meal! It was really tasty, fresh and filling and we will definitely recommend trying @souvlaki.guys if you want some authentic Greek Cypriot food! The Chicken and Lamb Souvlaki Box was really good - the chicken was juicy and marinated well and the lamb was tender. There was a generous amount of meat in the box and it went together well with the juicy bulgar rice and fresh crisp salad! We were so impressed with the Vegan Souvlaki Pitta! We didn’t know what to expect but it was delicious, the portobello mushrooms and red peppers were chargrilled to perfection, it was so flavoursome and light, would definitely have this again! 😍 They also have The Original (wild pork skewers), The Sheftalia (Cypriot pork sausages) and Halloumi. We also got the choice to have it naked (with a large salad), pitta (pitta & salad) or in a box (Greek bulgar rice & salad), so there really is something for everyone!! - @eatwithlaki

Fantastic little place! Usually I order it through Uber eats but today I popped by to pick in person. The owners are so helpful and nice and the whole experience can only be rivalled by the awesome taste of the food! If you are looking for an easy, delicious Greek experience, look no further than the Souvlaki guys!
