Great coffee shop and place to recover from a Royal Free visit.
Shame the George Orwell plaque seems to have been removed though. Orwell worked in the bookshop previously on this site.

They should train their staff to move quick and be attentive to customers. I can be considerate if they’re short staff but most of the times 2-3 staff are in front with customers

The barista (his name was Matt) was so helpful and welcoming when I visited Gail’s last week. Amazing service will definitely be back. His latte was exquisite. Keep up the great customer service!

Reliable Gail’s, carries what you’d expect and the quality is good. As usual, great savoury selections instead of just sweet as is common in most chains.
This Gail’s is quite small, so takeaway is the standard. Only a handful of inside tables.

I’ve visited this lovely bakery a while ago. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I ordered an oat latte and a pistachio bun. What a treat! Very lovely staff, definitely will be coming back.
