Green Choy Tooting Market

This place is inside a market hall in Tooting Bec. Lovely atmosphere with lots of food stalls and drinking bars sling with a live music venue. The fried chicken (which I ordered only Thighs) was the most juiciest tastiest I have ever had! Out of this world. The sauce was perfect and sticky. The skin was super crispy and the meat was mega juicy... Will be going back for more! The noodle beef brisket on the other hand was absolutely awful... it was like someone just boiled the kettle and once the water went lukewarm they pored it onto some cold beef and threw in a few veg and noodles... it was vile... I ordered a small pot of red chilli to dpice it up but even that didn't work... I made sure I finished the bowl thinking all the tasty stuff may be stuck at the bottom... but no .. it was terrible so best to avoid. Freedom lager on tap along with lots of other drink options and the staff are great so will defo visit sgain and try other dishes!

Came here to celebrate my sons bday and this kid is a fan of Korean hot dogs! He loved it so it's a thumbs up from him. Portions are a good size, and the 2 and 3 course deal is a great bargain. Our server was just amazing, he was up and down those stairs the whole evening and was really polite and kind to us. The bimibap lacked flavour but it could be that we are used to alot of spice and seasoning. Overall a really good experience and we will definitely return. One feedback would be that the music was quite loud and perhaps could be turned down a notch or two.

10/10 experience. I had the Korean BBQ chicken and Waffles, it was heavenly the chicken was perfectly cooked, piping hot crispy skin. I also ordered the Chicken Fries these were the best loaded fries I have ever eaten, with the wasabi mayo, cheese, crispy onions on top just divine. Definitely recommend such a hidden gem

It's one of the best Korean foods I've ever tried. I've tried a lot of Korean food in London but this was really delicious. Generous portions of fresh ingredients, complemented by a perfect balance of vegetables and meat. Not only is the taste phenomenal, but the prices are also very reasonable. The restaurant itself is clean and the service is top-notch. They even thoughtfully provided water for my dog without me having to ask, which was very nice! You can truly taste the passion that goes into every dish at Green Choy. A big thank you to the entire staff for an amazing dining experience. A little gem of a place inside the Tooting market! Nice deco, lively atmosphere and to top it all the food is amazing! Been here twice with work colleagues and will come again. Quite liked the Bibimbap and the idea of it as it's served in a warm stone dish which keeps the food hot till the end instead of it going cold half way through. Should definitely try the bang bang cauliflower and the green spring rolls - bang on the spice and crispiness

Myself, husband and 3 young kids absolutely loved the place…The food was 10 out of 10. There was slight mistake on the order where the owner/staff said “keep this food and we will make you another”. I thought that was amazing because It’ll probably gone in the bin. - The staff was amazing. So very polite… This is definitely not the last time I will be going back. The plan is to revisit this gem of a restaurant mid next week. My youngest at 8 said “this is the best restaurant ever” that’s coming from a 8 year old who loves food. Thank you for everything and keep up the good the work. ✌🏾
