One of my favourite bakeries in London, amazing vibe and delicious pastries. Expect a queue especially on weekends but it moves pretty quickly. However, make sure to go early as they do not always restock once they run out. Lots of seating space outdoors and a few spaces indoors in the winter time. Large variety of pastries, I've tried a few so far and they have all been so good! A bit on the pricy side but definitely worth trying.

On a cycle ride in London we stopped off here - was greeted with a lovely warm welcome. The pastries and bakes are top order. I would add they had some offerings that re just a little different in taste - trying something different and the results was very good. Came away with a loaf and 2 Orange/Clementine danish. Would go again.

Lovely laminated pastries. I had the pistachio chocolate croissant. Really soft on the inside and flaky on the outside. Just what you want in a croissant. It was also a perfect level of sweetness as with pistachio flavoured things, they tend to be quite sweet. I also tried some of my sisters cinnamon bun which was lovely and soft. I enjoyed freshly squeezed orange juice with my pastry but the glass was quite small which was disappointing tbh. It's a bit more on the pricier side, £5.5 for a croissant but that's quite common in this area nowadays. All in all good location and good pastries 👍🏼

I went here for coffee and pastries and it was the best decision of the whole day. The place was so lovely it was open and very cozy at the same time. Love their little outdoor seating area . The pastries was amazing and the drink tasted so good !! Especially the dirty chai latte . Definitely going back 👍🏼✨

Anywhere can make a croissant. They’re so buttery that it blows open margin for error. It’d be easy, therefore, to stop there. To occasionally embrace other safety nets in cookery like chocolate and carry on. I like that Layla doesn’t do this. They do the classics, and beautifully, but it’s the seasonal pastries you should come here for. If it’s in harvest, it’ll be on a Danish. Gooseberries, plums. Bakes with a bit of thought behind them, rather than the same old recipes. It’s also a welcome respite from the, oftentimes overwhelming, bustle of Portobello Road and Notting Hill. There are benches and chairs dotted under awning outside. It’s a lovely spot to sit and journal or meet a pal on a sunny day. But you need to get here early - they sell out for a reason.

Layla Bakery where do we start? On the quieter end of Portobello Road (but defo not quiet here) Tip: get there as they open for best selection as often a large queue, esp weekends. An ever changing menu of great pastries, textures, flavours, sweet and savoury. Good coffee from Assembly Roast. Perfect place to start your day in Notting Hill. Love the open kitchen and prep station as you can witness the handmade perfection of breads and pastries.

I had the pistachio bun and cheese twist and they were amazing. But the other pasties looked good too. The espresso is not their strength in my opinion. The staff was professional and fast. Gonna go back there again for sure.

It was the last day to try the chocolate and pistachio pain sussie sooo glad I came! It was delicious even better than the Cedric’s pain au sussie. Much more reasonably priced too. The staff were super friendly, it was all open plan so could see the bread and pastries being made. Really hot Sunday morning so they had water for everyone Will definitely be back to try more It was soo good didn’t mind the 15 mins queue
