We tried this unfamiliar restaurant after a long night of trick-or-treating. While nothing else in a 15 mile radius was open, it was our goos fortune to find John Holly's. Let me tell you, there was no indication they were closing soon (11 p.m.) as the gentleman was so kind and accommodating! He portrayed a grateful, relaxed attitude and packaged our order with nicer quality plates utensils and napkins. The food was amazing! Fresh, hot, and hit the spot! I will now drive 20 minutes out of my way to visit from now on. Thank you, John Holly's!

Hands down, the best sushi in all of Colorado! We are frequently sushi eaters, and this place has the BEST sushi! They are fast with the food and the service is in top! We have found our go to place! Portions are big and the price is right!

I'm giving it two stars because the food is delicious, however, the service was awful. It says they have curbside pickup so I called and ordered and had my baby and toddler in the car with me for pickup. I called when I arrived and they said they don't do curbside and made me get my baby and toddler out of the car to pay and pickup the food. I didn't have masks for them because I didn't think we were getting out of the car and they were completely unhelpful when I asked if they could bring it to the car for us and that I had young children with me. Then with the other cars they would make them pay at the window, but would bring the food to the car for them, not sure what the difference is?!? Really disappointed in their service. They should probably take curbside pickup off their website.

We have periodically enjoyed John Holly's Asian Bistro in Lone Tree for years (always in the dining room). Unfortunately, after an experience this evening, I'm worried about how things are going there. I ordered dinner tonight for takeout with 2 appetizers, a soup, 2 fried rice dishes and 3 main courses (sizable order), and somehow we did not receive on of our main courses. After dinner, I called, just to let them know (really just wanting them to be aware - an apology would have been appreciated as my family was disappointed). I thought perhaps they could give us a credit for another time. The manager was put on the phone after I told the person who answered the phone what happened. The first person I spoke to insisted that the packer had put it in. Well, we didn't have it. So, I let them know that we just didn't receive it - there must have been a mistake. The manager was then put on the phone, and he let me know that there are lots of dishonest people. I asked if he was suggesting that I was dishonest and he went on to say that they had only made that item once, and we must have received it. Without listening to me and how I was just trying to help them realize that a mistake may have been made, he continued providing all of the reasons that he didn't believe me. Well, the experience was disappointing, and for $13, I think we'll have to find a new Asian restaurant. This is my first negative review - I don't like to criticize, especially at this time, but this manager was unbelievably difficult and I didn't get what we paid for. Hope someone else enjoyed our chow mein, and that others are having a better experience.

We hadn’t been here for a while, so a little bit has changed. The decorations were changed, and the built a wall where there wasn’t one before. Still, the food was just as good, and the service was also good. I think the value for the money is also good.
We got the John Holly Filet Minion and the combination fried rice for our main entrees. The filet was very tender and the veggies were very tasty, the entire dish really. The fried rice here is probably the best of any Chinese restaurant in town, and they give you a lot. We also got a red dragon roll for an appetizer. We don’t usually get sushi here, but it is actually very good.
They appear to no longer give the cut pineapple for desert. Not sure if that is cost cutting, or they are just out of pineapple. That was really the only reason I deducted a star.

Ordered 6 rolls, got 5. It’s simple math we were missing one. When we called to let the manager know he insisted that we received everything and offered no apology and claimed to watch it be packed.

We used to love this place but, had to stand in the cold for 30 minutes waiting to pay for our food that has been ready for 30 minutes. Why aren’t you open like every other business? We won’t go back until you open your dinning room.
