Hostess seemed like the owner, and she greeted / seated us quickly with a smile. It is a typical, small business sushi restaurant. Servers were attentive & ordering wasn’t challenging. The fish tasted good, but we felt presentation & the amount of fish given was lacking. Miso soup was tasty & hot, as it should be. Extra points for being generous with ginger. We’ll definitely be back for a quick sushi stop!

Delicious sushi and sashimi. The sushi chefs give great on the spot recommendations and suggestions on what to try for their specials. The staff is great with customer service. Love this place. The sushi is amazing. Great place to dine in or order take out

Sushi Dan is perfect. I’m visiting LA from Hawaii and I’m traveling alone. I order chicken teriyaki meal with a wine. The food is delicious. The atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant is also very chill with the right volume of chill music background. The server Ruslan is also very attentive and nice to the customers.

Very good sushi and very good deal 50%off selected sushi rolls. They have big selection of nigiri’s, and a lot of sushi varieties.
The fish was very fresh and the service was good.
There is also good parking in the back which is very helpful.
Give it a try I am sure you’ll like it.

Perfectly prepared sushi in a relaxed environment. The servers were all friendly and attentive. I can't say that any of our glasses were empty for more than a minute before they were refilled. The food came quickly, and was delicious! I wish I had taken pictures of our dinner, but it was so tasty it didn't last long enough for photos. Don't miss out on the Mexican Samurai roll!

We were able to get a reservation on Mother’s Day for a big group of 17 with little notice so it’s definitely a restaurant that can accommodate a big group. We were immediately seated and promptly given menus with their specials. The main menu was a QR code on the table. Even though our full party wasn’t there we were seated which is always a plus with a large party.
They have a pretty extensive menu with not just sushi but hot foods from the kitchen. Food came out rather quickly except for one of kid’s meals. They did apologize a few times and offered to take half off, but at some point we decided to cancel as the kid was so hungry just ate someone else’s leftovers. Most restaurants prioritize kids meals but not the case here or at least not this time. Other than that it was a good dining experience and everything tasted delicious and fresh.

This sushi joint corner in a strip mall caught me off guard with it's very good service and lightning quick order serve. Despite the ultra fast service the sushi itself does not reflect that in taste and presentation. Great atmosphere punk hall without the smoke.

The sushi was pretty good. The service was great. The studio city roll was way too salty imo and very acidic almost.
The paparazzi is the greatest sushi dessert I’ve ever had. Dangerously good but rich and heavy. The combination was solid as well.

If your unvaccinated no worries because there is an outside seating option to enjoy!
Just a heads up the orders come in 4 pieces when you order sushi.
My experience was a quick one from seating to actually recieving the sushi.
Staff was top notch.
& That sushi must come from the best fishmongers because it was love at first taste.
Nothing bad to say here, Sushi Dan is 💯
