Took a girl here on a date. Neither of us were huge art fans but we both enjoyed just walking around. The grounds and architecture are gorgeous. I think anyone would enjoy it!

I liked the idea of recreation of an ancient building. So grateful that Mr.Getty generously gave us his vast and rich collection of antiques! California's great weather perfectly matches with this gorgeous place!

It's so beautiful here! It's wonderful they have so many pieces from ancient Greek and Rome! I loved their Egyptian Book of the Dead exhibit as well, though it was a very tiny exhibit. Entry is free, parking is $20. Reserve entry on their website, super easy. Everyone should visit and get a glimpse of history!

For the first time, I visited this beautiful place. The entrance is free, but you need to reserve a free ticket in advance. A very nice girl greeted me at the entrance. Then, a shuttle took me to the museum itself. After that, museum staff welcomed me, showed me the map, and so on. Inside is very beautiful, and the friendly museum staff were always ready to help guests. There is a cafe where the food is delicious. Thank you.

Parking $20 with free EV charging. Free admission but need to make advance reservations. There are restaurants and cafe onsite foods are good! Museums store is also very nice, bought cute twisted crayons there. There are tours you can join.

We visited the Getty Villa in winter (January 2023) and needed a place to escape the winter chill. We found this place by accident and we were so grateful that we did. We drove here and while the Villa is free to enter, parking costs around $15-20. The history of the villa is astounding and we spent more time here exploring both floors and the gift shop. The replication of the villa and how well kept it is, blew us away! If you're in L.A and have a spare couple of hours then I recommend checking this place out for yourself

Visited in May 2023. Although it was a cloudy day, it was still a fantastic visit to the Getty Villa! The lush green surroundings, along with its captivating art collection, truly impressed me. The drive down the scenic Pacific Coast Highway added to the experience. While the parking fee was $20, the free entry made it a great value. I captured some stunning photos, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Highly recommended!

Brilliant view back in history, from an art point of view. The building is amazing and the gardens are beautiful. Surprisingly, no fish in the ponds. Take time to sit in the garden and soak up the energy. Well worth a visit. $20 is all that you pay for parking.

It was a beautiful first day of October 2023 in Malibu, Ca, It was also a wonderful time to visit the Getty Villa Museum. The museum is free but costs $20.00 to the park. You also need to make a reservation before you go. The grounds are gorgeous and picture-perfect scenes. I saw a couple having their engagement photos taken. My 16 year old granddaughter enjoyed seeing art in the Era she's studying in school.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. If you do nothing else in LA you must go and see this villa and the art works within. The fact that this is made so authentically and true to the original with no expense spared. The museum of art was interesting and the audio phone app enhanced the experience as I am not one to stand and read captions for hours. I loved learning about how the villa was built, walking in the beautiful gardens and imagining how Romans would have lived. Absolutely gorgeous. And it is FREE! (except for parking).
