Wow. Lousiville has some amazing hidden gems. This place is so great. Food amazing. The owner is down right charming in English and spanish. Same jokes every time, but they’re good ones, and it makes you feel right at home. Just amazing customer service. also phenomenal chicken. And great yucca Fries.

Visited the place during a business trip and had lunch there. Excellent food, and lots of options for sides. The chicken is extremely well seasoned and very tasty. What I was most amazed by is the owner and the way he interacted with customers. After preparing our order and me saying Thank you, he replied: "Thank YOU for keeping us in business, enjoy!" Who does that? Amazing. Will definitely return when I have a chance.

We came in as they opened for lunch at 11am. We got a whole chicken that came with 2 large sides and a dark meat quarter plate that came with 2 small sides. We opted for yucca fries, mashed potatoes, cilantro rice, chickpeas, and added an order of slaw and chicken fried rice. The chicken was juicy, seasoned perfectly with a crispy roasted skin. The yucca fries were golden brown and crisp. The mashed potatoes were real and freshly mashed, cilantro rice was moist and very cilantro-ee. The slaw was creamy and sweet and the chickpeas was seasoned well. The chicken fried rice was surprisingly good. The chicken comes with a green cilantro based spicy sauce (my favorite) and a creamy garlic sauce. Yucca fries with cilantro sauce was the winning side dish and the chicken was hands down best we've had in a long while. Only gripe is we wished that there was some kind of gravy for the mashed potatoes. We definitely will be back.

If I could give more stars I would! My husband Josh and I first tried this place last week after an appointment in Louisville. We loved it so much we had to come back today. This is, hands down, the best chicken we've ever had! We have lived many places and have experienced a diverse variety of culinary delights. My husband has worked in the food service industry for a long time and we both agree that this food is some of the best! The chicken is the star of the show and well complimented by delicious sides. My favorite are the yuca fries dipped in the green sauce. The masterfully blended herbs permeate throughout the chicken, not just the skin. And the best part of all is the warm and friendly service provided by the staff and owner! Thank you Faisal for your Yummy Pollo!

Amazing owner, staff and Peruvian food. It was our first visit coming down from canada. Right from my initial contact the kindness and caring was evident. We have never had chicken prepared in such a manner hyphen obvious care and pride of ownership is shown in everything that they do. The food is served up by the owner who is generous and kind. In the 45 minutes that we were at the location he greeted almost every customer by name - that is unheard of ay these times. Well we were first time customers we felt like we were friends for ever. The chicken is unbelievably moist and infused with flavor. Hardest decision will be for you to choose sides as they were all amazing. We can't wait to return to Louisville to have it again. Delicious, authentic, healthy and fresh Peruvian food, served up by the owner who is so personable and kind!!! Highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant right off Newburg Road across from the JCPS Van Hoose center. It’s a wonderful place with character and authenticity. Lots of delicious side options to go with the chicken.
