Mussel & Burger Bar Downtown

Wow! This place was amazing start to finish. The service was excellent. Our server, Julian, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. The mussels were out of this world. My burger had a lot going on all amounted to amazing. My wife's short rib grilled cheese was beautifully done as well. The atmosphere worked too. I haven't made such a fuss about a restaurant in I don't know when. On top of all that the bartenders make excellent drinks and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Heard nothing but good things about this place and was not disappointed during our visit for our 28th Wedding Anniversary. Our food (taquito and Mac N cheese appetizers with signature burgers) and drinks were awesome, our burgers were cooked to order as we specified. Although the wait was long (~ 45 minutes) it was expected since it was a Friday night. We took seats at the bar and were served promptly. The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We will be visiting again and again …..

We ordered Mussels and Burgers here and they were delicious. The burgers were cooked to the perfect temperature and super tasty. The mussels were our favorite part. They came out piping hot with a baguette. Would highly recommend visiting for lunch & enjoying the mussels as an app with a burger as your main meal. You'll leave here full and happy!

Our experience here started off great. We were promptly sat and greeted and received our drinks. We placed our order, and once we got our food, we didn't see our waiter for a long time. I realize they were getting busy, but we both would have had a second drink had we had the opportunity. We even ran out of water, and there's not a good excuse for that. But the drinks we did have were good and the food was delicious. We unfortunately just did not receive the best service.

This was a recommendation from our bartender over at Hell or High Water. I'm glad she sent us here. Our burgers were excellent, and it's exactly what you want after a day of bouncing around to different bourbon distilleries. I had the BBQ burger. My brother had the CEO. Our friend ordered the BBB. Needless to say everyone loved their choices. Our server was friendly and provided a lot of suggestions. Really great burger spot.

THE FOOD We had the mussels as appetizer - let me tell you!!! Delicious doesn't quite describe it. They were more like finger licking good 😂 the wedge salad 👌🏽 Tried the Argentinian and the chorizo burgers. I'm not gonna lie, the chorizo was my favorite. I LOVE going to a place where food doesn't need any more flavoring because it's just perfect. THE SERVICE We were lucky to have the lady in the picture as our server. She was phenomenal; very knowledgeable and friendly. She took her time to explain their dishes and make suggestions according to our taste. THE PLACE The place is beautiful. I was surprised it wasn't more full of customers, but maybe because of the long holiday. The music was very nice and you don't need to raise your voice to speak to the person across the table from you. Service dog friendly 😍

Our experience was so, so. Our server was less than enthusiastic to wait on us or to be there for that matter, maybe some personal issue, who knows. Our burger was okay, I don't get all the hype about the burgers here cause, for the price I can get a better one at my local pub here in Michigan, our fries were greasy and limp, but at least our beer was cold. The place was clean and has a cool vibe. Very cool looking and well stocked bar.

This restaurant is very beautiful, old charm, classy. Wood bar, ceiling, floors, relaxing music. Mussels pesto big winner, flavorful, almost wished for more bread to wipe the bowl clean. The Dip wasn't nearly good. Roast beef not fresh cooked and sliced in house, looked more like deli version of meat. French fries crispy hot, heavy salt. Near to museum area.
