Wow. This place is awesome. The service was impeccable, informative, patient, and got us out quick for the Cards game. Huge winner was the Pimento Cheese Burger (called something else). Best pimento cheese I’ve ever had. So smooth and mild. Worked so well on the perfectly cooked burger. The garlic Parmesan truffle fries are an absolute must! Best I’ve had. Perfect seasoning. I didn’t have the bourbon flights but my friend did and he liked that there were so many options - the bartenders had a ton of knowledge and made great suggestions. Would definitely come back!

Great atmosphere, great food and friendly staff was my experience at the Sidebar. To top it off, I left my prescription sunglasses at the restaurant and the staff -Jamie found them and the manager - Lissa was kind enough to FedEx them back to me in North Carolina. I can’t say enough good things about the Sidebar! I will definitely return next time I am in Louisville. Cheers!

Have at twice here for lunch in the past few months. The burgers are pricey but VERY good. Most recent visit had the cheeseburger with bacon and fries. Each burger comes with a full size pickle. I was very happy with my order, and so were my co-workers. Other orders included nachos which were enough to feed two people at least. Plan to spend $20-25 here for lunch but that's in line with the tourist pricing of this area. Highly recommend when you are in the mood for a nice lunch in the downtown Louisville area.

Loved everything about this place. The burgers were excellent! Even the plain fries we said were some of the best we've ever had. The bartender (Coby) was TALENTED with his craft. He made a mean old fashioned, and I had the most unique and delicious bloody Mary ever - made with whiskey. It was so good, I had to get two and I'll be craving those for the rest of my life. My husband enjoyed a guilty bourbon milkshake and loved it. The service from the whole staff was top notch! Only thing that possibly would have made it even better was vegan ice cream (can't eat diary) for the guilty milkshakes - that would have put me in heaven ☺️

Visited for the first time 9/25/23. Busy place, but we were able to snag a table for 3 quickly. Waiter and GM were amazing...sassy, funny and 100% professional taking care of guests in a timely manner despite how busy they were. A refreshing place to stop for a beverage (mixed drinks and taps were all delicious), appetizers and great burgers (they have other options). Not a deep menu, but everything we had was on point for temperature, flavor and portion size. Desserts looked great too, but we didn't leave room. Did I mention how awesome the staff is??!! Its a must return for my next visit.

I don’t go downtown a lot because I am not a people person and I live in my mother’s basement. When I do decided to go on an adventure downtown. I get really worked up and hungry. I only eat at Sidebar. Since I don’t have any friends I always ask to sit in the bar area. Luckily for me a guy named Clinton is working. He is really nice. I wish more people in the world were like him.
