Homemade Ice Cream And Pie Kitchen

Fantastic desserts, friendly service , went back this afternoon because it was next to the pharmacy I had to go to, I got the 4 layer chocolate which I think is the best dessert they have, their pies and cakes are fantastic as well, cookies, brownies, cupcakes they are all extremely good, the young lady who waited on me was very friendly.

we went here YEARS ago & loved it! My fams never got over the way they have the BEST Carmel apple pie we've ever tasted here! So we made sure to stop by on our most recent trip to Kentucky & they still have the BEST Carmel apple pie ever! All their stuff is insanely good. The ice cream, pies, cheesecake, everything! N the employees are all so nice!

Homemade ice cream and pies, a pie barragain table for those on a budget, and always quieter than Graters ice cream with more comfortable seating. Anesthetics could use a paint job and new table tops, but the quality is outstanding. Young people work the counter and they seem confused as to the pricing of the sizes...or even what the sizes are lol. I've been charged differently depending on whose working and the sizes differ too. They don't indicate sizes anywhere on their board or prices, which is weird for a first-time customer, but if you ask they will explain. Always very friendly. We go weekly now.

Absolutely loved this place and the service. I can’t remember the gals name that gave us excellent service, but she sure needs to be recognized for her outstanding customer service. With her permission I’m posting her picture. She is wonderful!!!! The ice cream for sure you can tell homemade. It is excellent!!! Loved it so much will be back. So many different flavors. Delicious. Their stuff tastes like a better version of homemade. Not artificial, not mass produced, it's the real deal. When I go to a place like this, I don't want a piece of cheesecake that tastes like it came from a "factory" that churns out thousands of pieces a day. Don't get me wrong, that cheesecake has it's place. But from a place like this, I want a piece that tastes like something that I made at home, only much, much better. That's exactly what I found here. We tried the cheesecake, pie, a brownie, and some ice cream. All of it was delicious. They all taste authentically homemade and fresh, which I loved. We're not local, but if we're back in town I would love to try a few of their other offerings, too. It was a little busy when we went in (around 8:00 pm on a Saturday), but the line moved quickly. The staff was also very friendly, willing to help, and offered suggestions for first timers. Overall it was a great experience, I would absolutely go back!

This is a such a quintessential Louisville spot. This location has a sign proudly proclaiming that the dairy products in their icecream are locally sourced. They have a wide range of delicious pies, cakes, and cheesecakes. Some of my favorites are the blueberry and Reeses' pies. The inside is clean and spacious, with plenty of seating and very clean restrooms. There's also outdoor seating right by their building within the little shopping complex it's in. Definitely a great local spot to check out.

Where else in the city of Louisville can you get a fresh peice of homemade pie and ice cream. Very consistant and fairly priced. Their is nothing like taking a break from life, shutting off your brain and the outside worls and getting lost while enjoying a peice of warm pie, coffee and ice cream with the ones you love.

Amazing. Went back, 2 days in a row, if I stayed 3 days; I'd do 3 days in a row. I love the pecan, miss you already....... Dutch apple excellent! but Pecan the BEST. Decent and generous ice cream, great ice creams! Immediately loved this place, will return next trip! I wish I stayed in LOUISVILLE; ST LOUIS sucks sooooo bad, I hate it. I WISH I WAS HAVING ICE CREAM AND PIE at HOMEMADE in Louisville.....................
