August Moon Chinese Bistro

I had my Mom's 100th birthday party at August Moon on July 29, 2023. The food, service, etc. was fantastic!!! Yandi and Staff went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the event was a raging success!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart🤎. We will always, extol the virtues of August Moon!!!

First time here, and it was so good! I shared a chicken satay with peanut sauce appetizer with my dinner companion. It was so delicious. For my main, I had scallops with Malaysian curry. My friend had shrimp with walnuts. We both ended up taking home a good portion of our main dish. My leftovers were almost as good when I reheated & finished them off later. I will definitely come back. Next time, I want to try the General Chicken.

This is a lovely restaurant. We enjoyed the pork dumplings, ribs, chicken egg roll, tempura shrimp and the chicken in the mango-passion fruit sauce. The food was delicious. The shrimp were huge. The sauces were light and very tasty. Our new favorite. And the free parking lot was very much appreciated.

Three of us decided to give August Moon a try, and we're pleasantly surprised not only by the food, but the impeccable service! We all tried various apps and first flavors from soups to dumplings... the soups we found to be pretty good, while dumplings and wontons were average. While sampling those we each got different house cocktails, and all three were wonderful. Would definitely recommend giving one a try! For the main courses, the food was prepared wonderfully, much more so than the first flavors... both meats and veggies were cooked perfectly. Spice level was definitely there in some of the spicy dishes, to be expected, but didn't overpower the flavor. Fish was cooked absolutely perfect and pillowy soft. Service was some of the best I've had recently. Very attentive, personable, and really cared about our dining experience.
