Perhaps the most underrated restaurant in Louisville. I've been going to the area for five years to eat and never noticed this place. We had great Friday evening drink specials including mojitos and draft beer. The table side guac and salsa was excellent. The entrees were the best I've had downtown in this area and were cheap! We got the masas de puercos which was amazing!! We eat a lot of carnitas and the masa de puercos is the best pork I've had in Louisville (and I live here and eat it a lot!) and the kepiri al horno which is brisket Bolivian style. It was perhaps the most tender brisket I've ever had and I eat a lot of BBQ brisket. I would eat it ten more times! Just to top it off, our server was super nice and attentive. Again, the most underrated restaurant in downtown Louisville!!!!

Stopped on here on a random Monday for dinner with a friend. We were pleasantly surprised to hear that they had a special on margaritas, so we started with those. They have a pretty impressive variety of Latin/Mexican food on the menu, but being the basic gringas we are we split the arroz con pollo with a side of fresh jalapeños. The portion was big enough to fill both of us up easily. For 2 margs each and plenty of food we were both able to walk out with a bill of close to $10. Now, for the real star of the show....CHRIS. We had the pleasure of having Chris as our server and he absolutely went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of. He takes customer service to a new level and is the definition of hospitality. This guy deserves a raise and could honestly serve anywhere in Lou. Dom the bartender was also helpful and friendly even though he wasn't our server! Me gusta is lucky to have these guys. Keep up the good work!

Mass de puercos was recommended and was excellent. We live in FL and have many Latin Cuban style restaurants. All four dinners were very good. $3 beers and $4 gin tonic were a nice surprise in this pricey part of town. Highly recommended and 4 of us ate and drank for $75 with tip here in downtown with plenty for the next day too. Skip the big names and enjoy this gem.
