Runway Cafe

Very cute and quaint place at the site of small local airport. Open for breakfast and lunch. Menu includes everything from omelets and pancakes to burgers and paninis. A local hangout for the older folks but open to everyone. The server was very nice. The food is good, comparable to a diner. I had pancakes with eggs and sausage and my son had a chicken panini. The onion rings he had on the side were delicious. I forgot to take pictures of everything but took a few before we were entirely finished. When we were leaving we were able to watch both a helicopter and plane take off which was fun

Love the Runway Cafe. Outstanding staff - waitress, cook - and even got a nice visit from one of the owners. Cooked our breakfast perfectly and waitress, who has worked there for 16 years, was very attentive and personable. We could see the small airplanes coming and going from our window seat. We’ll be going back!

A beautiful day not too cold nor windy. My grandson is in the Air Force ROTC program at Pennsauken High School. There are some students who are interested in CAP (Civil Air Patrol) of Camden New Jersey, also a part of McGuire Air Force Base. This is a wonderful place for younger students interested in learning to become future pilots. Also there's a restaurant at the South Jersey Airport.
