Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

The people before us had been waiting 40 minutes for burgers they still had the grill open and as we were half way thru our order a guy comes up and tells us the grill is off as the people before us were still waiting for their grill food. They close at 9 and we arrived before 9. Apparently they close their grill at 8:30 but they don't have any sign saying that. They just didn't want to do the work. As we were asking if they could just do ours real quick this lady comes over and starts giving us an attitude for no reason we were being polite after we drove an hour to get there on our way home. The lady then starts yelling at us, being so unprofessional she runs back to the back and grabs her manager and starts yelling even more so we walk away and she still tries to continue. So we took ourself to chicken man and got the best service. Skip Dairy Queen and go to Chicken Man much better service

I have ate here before and love there ice cream. However this time i was met by a lot of issues. The kid behind the counter (kid like 16 to 19yearold) was taking orders there was a long line of people who had all ready ordered but was waiting for ice cream. We gave our order for vanilla he took the orders when we said we wanted chocolate he informed us the chocolate was broken so we switched to vanilla he took 3 more orders on are tally he gives us the total and before we paid we asked if the machine was broken for all ice cream he looked back at a fantic manager on the phone asked her a question and the ice cream machine its self was broken she was on the phone with trouble shooting people going over it. So insted of createing a long line of people and angrey customers. The proper way to handle that is to inform the customer before they pay that there machine is down and there not taken orders for ice cream. Insted they created a line of over 30 people that had paid and were waiting on there order and the longest person had been there 25 minutes when we asked how long he had been waiting for ice cream. As a result we did not pay and canceled are order. The manager had a lot of angry customers that needed refunds... there lack of inexpensive was very well shown... it appered they cared more about money then custmor satisfaction. Glad we ask... will i eat there again sure.. as long as there icecream machine isnt broken like McDonald's....

Worst experience every! Employees seemed untrained and didn’t care. They were laughing and joking instead of working. Apparently they had no vanilla ice cream but failed to disclose that fact to customers until then got to the window to pick up orders. Completely the worst!!! Unprofessional and a complete waste of time to stop.

Go here for good wholesome food kinda! Clean with TV, tables and plenty of napkins. Gotta love the menu! All the great American classics with ice cream creations that keep us interested. My favorite is the Blizzard that combines candy with features creamy sweetness. This DQ is hooked to a convenience store and a gas station. Clean restrooms and an easy exit off Route One make it easy to access. Drive on in sometime soon!
