Ron's Restaurant

Fantastic! Absolutely love this place. If it hasn't been on "Diners and Dives" it should be. The friendliest people in the world are serving the best country favorites and some creative additions. Any place that can serve food this good on a ripped-in-half styrofoam container is a winner! Only open for breakfast and lunch but well worth a visit!

Oooh Ron's, where have you been all my life? Ron's is a mom and pop little dive that all the locals know! They are the epidamy of good ole Southern cooking! Breakfast: grits, country ham (a huge piece which made my husband literally drool in his plate), eggs, hashbrowns.. you get the picture. Everything delicious! Recently we tried the lunch menu: hamburgers and fries: hamburger had fresh crunchy lettuce and a Summer tomato! Yes sir! The fries were hot and very nice. The prices are great too! If you want a good meal at a tiny place with hard working women (I think Ron comes in occasionally) Ron's is your place!

I have ate at this restaurant for a few years but today was a disappointment. I ordered my food and was told a price. However when my card was ran it was ran for a different amount. I inquired as to why is was and I was told that they have to charge 4% of the total to take a debit card. I was not happy that I wasn't told and it was not POSTED! I will never eat there again!

Oh gosh, we have been eating at rons for years. I'm 27 now and definitely remember going here back in elementary school with my dad and pawpaw Wolfe. George is such a sweet guy. And he has the best group of women to help him. Best breakfast hands down. (Their lunch is AMAZING too; I'm just a breakfast person 😝)
