The Cotton Cafe

Super cute little cafe/coffee shop. The food was delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. They had music playing softly that added to the ambiance. I highly recommend a stop here. They have breakfast and lunch and are open for dinner a couple nights a week also. I had a croissant breakfast sandwich with fruit. Delicious.

Cute place, very nice wait staff and good food.. fair prices but OMG the service was slooooow. The waitress said this was normal time (45 minutes) to receive our food. Chicken salad and pimento cheese was very tasty. Also breakfast plate was good with huge biscuits. The burger was hand formed and good...cooked to order!

Thought we’d try a local “non-chain” place for dinner. The Cotton Cafe is warm and inviting, with vintage tables and tasteful Christmas decorations. The menu isn’t very extensive- mainly sandwiches, wraps and a few burger options. The waitstaff was friendly but not so efficient. We placed our order and it was prepared incorrectly- a veggie burger with bacon? Come on! My burger had blue cheese instead of cheddar (as ordered) so we had to send it all back. The veggie burger was supposed to come with avocado but they were “out” The food was good but the wrong order(s) and outage made this place questionable in my book.

First time here. We ordered the chicken panini and chicken waldrof sandwich. With sides of cold slaw and potato salad. We came early afternoon (on a Saturday) and were seated quickly. Service was good. I loved the chicken waldorf salad and potato salad. I would love a softer, more flaky crescent on the waldorf sandwich. Chicken panini was also good. Cole slaw needed a little more seasoning. Cozy atmosphere to the place and I loved the decor! We'll definitely give it more visits when we're in town.

The food is good. It is reasonably priced. There is a good selection of both breakfast and other food items. Breakfast served up until 11am. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. If you are looking for a good place to get away for a bit and enjoy a good meal this would be the place. It has a good country feel and is a good spot for friends and family alike. This is about an hour from our home and we drive the hour because it is well worth the drive. You will not be disappointed.
