Romados

Amaaaaazzing chicken sandwiches. Holy. One of the best I've ever had in my life. So juicy and saucy and roasted to perfection. I can't recommend Romados enough. You've got to try it. They also have Portuguese egg tarts! The chicken comes with fries or salad (or both). When we ordered takeout, our food was buried in a mountain of fries, which was fun. It's very filling and worth it. 10/10. I can't wait to go back.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered half-chicken combo with fries converted to poutine and side salad 3 times in the last few weeks. First time they didn't send the salad. Okay, mistakes happen. Second time they missed to make fries to poutine although they charged $4.50 extra for it. UE refunded portion. This third time it was a bloody box of fries and salad. No chicken for an order of half-chicken. Do you have employees who are trying to get your business bad reviews and shut down or is my luck that bad? Would have ordered from Ma Poulet Moillee if they delivered.

I ordered chicken from this restaurant a few times in the past and thought it was very good. But the last time I had a horrible experience. Got two chickens and both looked undercooked in parts (pale soggy skin). But the terrible part was when I took a few bites and something felt off. After smelling it, turns out the chicken was just starting to rot and decompose. It had that distinct smell and taste of rotting meat. The texture was also grainy. The extra “spicy” sauces I took on the side were also tasteless and had no spice in them. I think they just poured the oil on top instead of the actual sauce. I decided to write this harsh but honest review after my wife started to panic when we realized we just served potentially harmful expired food to our four year old daughter! Luckily no harm was done, other than a ruined dinner.

I ordered a half chicken with fries and rice. Honestly, the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had- spiced perfectly, tender, juicy and the colour was perfect. The spicy sauce is perfect for dunking your chicken in. My only critism is that the bread was a bit hard but it was the end of the day so I can look past that. Oh and the portions are extremely generous, you can split the meal between 3 people!
