We ( party of 3) had a Friday evening meal here. Service was excellent as well as the wine suggestion by waiter. 2 of us shared a seafood platter. I would have preferred some scallops & less clams/mussels. The other party had a steak which she said was very good. Restaurant was quite full by the time we left. I would rate it 4.5.

Super fresh seafood and fish platter! Desert is delicious too! Very attentive waiter! Overall a nice experience. One thing that tricked my eyes were the roast potatoes in the platter, we originally thought they were scallops. It did look like scallops a lot, wish that could be real scallops hahaha ;)

Hidden Gem! This was such a magical place, smaller quaint and very warm place. The husband runs the front of the house and the wife along with her helper creates magic in the kitchen. Hard to believe this beautiful place is not as well know as it should be, local treasures like this should be shared. Our first visit to this restaurant, we will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful, modern, immaculate and genuine Portuguese restaurant. Food variety was high. Amazing seafood, great salads, soups, and tapas. Steamed clam appetiser in garlic/white wine with dipping bread was excellent. Shrimp, squid, octopus, clams, mussels, and lobster were in the seafood casserole that came with a side of rice and tools to easily open the shells. Outstanding wine selection. There are good options for those who do not eat seafood. The wait staff were the best of any restaurant we have ever seen. We highly recommend this restaurant in a great part of Montreal near the Ballatou music club, a great venue for innovative music.

Amazing food and great service. It was a pleasure going out again and at such a great restaurant. The food was tasty, well cooked and menu has a lot of options. The service was great, the waiter was welcoming, made us feel at home and well taken care of. I highly recommend Aldea and will definitely be back!
