Great place, it's one of the place in town where one can get all types of South Indian food........ We had crab soup which was nice......must try In starters we had kadipata chicken.... A typical south indian starter...a good one.... In mains.....they have a nice option of roti or dosas with it......we tried Malabar chicken... Which was awesome.....they also have a unique combination of porotas or rotis mixed with the gravy known as kuttu porota... Which had a wonderful taste and something different..... At last the sweet dish.....Elanner gadban..... Fantastic but slight costly.....

Extremely superb experience at South High !!! Finally a pure south indian restaurant which is not in Matunga :-) . I simply loved the food . Be it the ghee roast or the veg thali , served authentically over a banana leaf with basic vegetables and sambhar . Choice of rice ( white or brown) i loved it . The thali comes with coconut burfee that was so mouth watering and the chaas ( nice , spicy and chilled ) . The staff was friendly and courteous .

A nice place to dine out with your family and loved ones, if you can munch on authentic South Indian delicacies. I had appam and chicken ghee roast and this was truly amazing, although it was a little spicy but I love spicy food. To balance things, I ordered for a sweet lime soda that was also good. So you can choose from a list of items according to your taste buds and have a great evening. Excellent and fast service right at your table. WiFi facility along with switch points available so that you can charge your phones just like your lives. Good music lifts up one's mood and you feel happy while you enjoy the food.

Dining in South high on a banana leaf reminded me of my Chennai days. So South high is just beside Banana Leaf in Malad and the difference between Banana Leaf and South high is that South high serves non vegetarian food as well as alcohol. So even the cocktails and mocktails served there is in a South Indian version. I ordered the Kerala pepper fry mutton, chettinad poriyal chicken and Mangalore meen fry surmai. All the cheese starters with perfectly good in very tasty South Indian masalas. I loved all three of them next in the main course I tried out the veg unlimited thali which is a must try here. So it has some 15 types of items in the Thali and its unlimited. The interiors and the decor of South high is very beautiful and very interesting. The service is also very fast and the staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for a family lunch or dinner and for a person who is a South Indian food lover

This place serves amazing south Indian food and has a great ambience.. The staff is friendly and polite.. We had prawns gassi, Chicken ghee Roast, Chicken chettinad, Murugan Dosa, Bisi Belle Bath.. Chicken Ghee roast didn't meet our expectations.. Rest all dishes were absolutely yummy.. Especially the Murugan Dosa.. Definitely Recommended if you want to experience some authentic south indian food.. 👌

Though South high is a mix of South Indian cuisines including Kerala, Andhra, chettinad and they provide a metropolitan touch to each of these, but if you are not a purist in terms of keeping the cuisines authentic , everything here tastes great. Mutton ghee roast and chicken kadipatta are my favorites. Great flavours and great taste without too much spice. The seafood dishes also taste good I highly recommend this if you love good South Indian food.

This is different types of south indian restaurant it different from others south indian restaurants as you can see the pic I have uploaded this place is little fancy the serving is also different they also serve non veg over here in south indian style this place is good for people who wants to eat south indian veg as well non veg ambience is also very good over here service is a bit slow and not trained well the only problem i faced here rest everything was fine one more thing which i want to mention is that this place is costlier then any other south indian resturent.
