Hotel Malvan Kinara Restaurant

Good place to enjoy sea food. But a bit expensive compared to the variety they serve in a thali. There are other similar options nearby like chaitanya which are a much better experience at almost the same price. We had ordered a thali which came with almost nothing other than the fish fry piece, which was the only thing worth. You order a chapati or bhakari, you don't have any accompaniment to it. You have to order something extra. The fry was also not marinated and tasted normal. We have a craving to have malvani food and so we had no option due to peak timing and long waiting hours at other locations. Restaurant needs serious upliftment in ambience as I don't think the owner has ever shut shop for renovation.

There is a constant confusion between Malvan Kinara and their copy cats Malvani Kinara. Malvan Kinara is very good with very authentic Malvan food. Malvani Kinara is practically a punjabi restaurant. The food is not of good quality and the service is also extremely poor. They seem to have taken up a similar name and edited the google location to point Malvan Kinara to their own restaurant - Malvani Kinara. I asked for prawn fry and got prawn bhaji. All the pictures here that show poor food or poor quality all seem to point to malvani kinara.

One of the best restaurant for foodies who love malvani food especially the fish thali, prawn thali as well as chicken thali is too good here...had an amazing time with friends in this restaurant,...the ambience too is very peaceful and the service too has a benchmark 👍🏻😊I would recommend this restaurant to all the foodie lovers like me...who are fish eaters to make a visit here, m sure ull not regret visiting this place!! Nd last but not the least even the price too is very reasonable ☺️... Thanks to the staff for such quick service 🤗😊👍🏻
