Persian Restaurant

This is a tiny restaurant tucked within the alleys of Colaba Causeway. It has 5-6 small tables and chairs and a very carefree and relaxed atmosphere. It is located on a one way street and parking is usually available either nearby or some distance away. The place is frequented by casual labourers who have their regular meals and snacks. The egg bhurgi with pav is a must try accompanied with thick sweet tea they provide. The coffee is particularly refreshing and strong. However, this place is not for those who are particular about high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Nonetheless it has its old City charm when you sit with a small glass of thick sweet tea munching a rusk and watch the Mumbai rains.

Persian is a small restaurant which serves food throughout the day and is extremely cheap. The whole restaurant is very hygienic. Delicious, fresh, hot food served everytime u order. They have a veg as well non-veg. You can choose from Panner, eggs, chicken, mutton and beef.... Simple yet amazing food. Then of course the bun maska and mawa cake. The butter chicken is completely made in pure butter.. Tastes heavenly. The chicken afghani is a huge chunk of Chicken in a spicy curry with chilled chopped up all of this is topped with a egg full fry. They have chapati and paratha... Parathas are amazing. And they have Sulemani, Tea, etc. And its a grade 3 certified restaurant. Staff is polite. Service is quick. What else do u need then... Go visit the place and c for urself how amazing food is made even in such small places..
