When it comes to authentic south indian food idlish never fails to impress us! Best place to have authentic south indian food! We had: 1)Jain Masala Lava dosa - dosa was crispy had masala in it and lots & lots of cheese, chipotle sauce and liquid cheese.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 2)Jain Pizza Uttappa - Jst so perfect!!loved it's taste.Perfect thin uttappa base topped with pizza sauce,bellpeppers & lots of cheese.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 3)Jain Karapodi Idli - small idlis tossed in ghee and podi masala(like gun powder). RECOMMENDED 4)Jain Menduvada - perfect crispy big menduvadas served with coconut and tomato chutneys and sambhar 5) Pineapple Sheera - jst perfect to end your meal .you cannot miss this,best I've had so far! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED On & all I had amazing dining experience.Looking forward to visit again!

So it's a pretty small outlet in Kandivli West. They serve authentic south Indian Food, They have variety of things in their menu. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. Service is really great What we had - 🔷 kanchipuram Idli - Idli was soft it was, served with 2 type of chutney and sambhar. Sambhar was really authentic. It was stuffed with cashew making it more tasty 🔶 Potato Masala Paniyaram - This was hot and crispy. They stuffing was really good. We liked it a lot. 🔷 idli Bhaji - This was new and had a good taste. The outer cover was tasty. It was fried idli with chat powder sprinkled over it. 🔶Utappam Pizza - We were really unsure about how it will taste as this was the first time we were having something like this. But to our surprise we just loved it as we, took the first bite. A perfect combination of south Indian and Italian Cuisine. The spread on the is was Italian and the base was south Indian, making it really unique and amazing Dish 🔷 Lady Guava - It was refreshing and had a great taste of guava with little spice 🔶 Filter Coffee - This was just perfect, aroma was amazing. 🔷 Pineapple Sheera - Best way to end the day. It's presented very well. We really liked it. Taste was pretty good too. As I am die hard fan of South Indian cuisine I always explore and in search of new joints (restaurant) as love to visit and try some new things which they serves than others.... I have heard many times from the friends and family about IDLISH situated in Mahavir Nagar; so One fine day I dropped der.... Amazing place I found its totally awesome as its FUSION of South Indian outlet..... Its healthy I must say as whatever I tried as a fusion dish... Originally it serves with Maida so to avoid it and without compromising taste or cravings for the delicacies you will definitely enjoy here.... Ambience is good..... Staff is very co operative and service is very quick. Way of serving is so good.. 👌 What I tried :- 1) Peri Peri Idli : a coin idli tossed with Bell pepper and peri peri masala amazing taste quantity and quality both are excellent and taste ka to kya kehna its lyk yum.... 2) Pizza Utthapa : Amazing fusion of Italian and South Indian cuisine wtta presentation and taste just loved it... Way of making is so good... Must try 👌 3) Dosa Quesadilla : stuffed with Paneer it's superb twisted dish just yum liked it... This one also must try 👌 4) Pineapple Sheera : dessert is must... Amazing it is not over loaded with sugar.... Used Ghee is very authentic this also I liked a lot... 5) Filter Kapi : If you visit a South Indian Joint and don't order #filterkapi it's like something missing and m crazy 4 Coffee so I never miss the chance to have.... If you are looking at having some yummy south Indian food with a swag then this is a must visit place for you😎 All of their dishes are really quirky but definitely on a spicier side. This place is located in the hustle bustle of Mahavir Nagar in Kandivali just opposite Dmart. We really loved the staff they were really courteous also the manager helped us in selecting some great dishes from the menu. They are running really busy specially in the evenings with lots of orders and also with whole lot of walk ins🍱 What we had: - Pizza Uttapam - Schezwan Panneer Dosa Taco - Schezwaan Idli - Virgin Mojito - Coffee Never really knew pizza could be made south Indian too but in idlish everything and anything is possible 😉 This amazing pizza Uttapam came with a Uttapam crust instead of the regular bread crust with loaded cheese, capsicum and some sauces for taste. This was something we loved the most. It was definitely drool worthy 🤤 Coming to the Dosa Taco like wow such a beautiful thought of having Taco in a healthy south Indian style😍 We choose the schezwaan Paneer Taco filled with veggies and covered with dosa and topped with lots of cheese. This dish was mesmerizing but definitely damn spicy and left us in tears before we could finish😂 Scehwan idli was a zing to the regular one with mini idlis tossed in schezwaan sauce. This is good enough but could be prepared much better. While the coffee was the best.

This Sunday I visited this place for some South Indian Snacks! It's located at Mahavir Nagar, Opposite Dmart. It's a small restaurant with indoor as well as outdoor sittings! Talking about food, every dish at Idlish has that authentic South Indian taste with a western twist which is something to relish ! We loved having Maysore Cheese Lava Dosa which is presented like Jini Dosa(4 dosa towers with loads & loads of cheese over it) it has shreded as well as liquid cheese, so its definitely like a Cheese Lava! ❤😍 Loved the concept, taste, presentation alott! Talking about Pizza Uttapam, well it was another highlight from meal, it has the taste of pizza and Uttapam both, and it blends soo well! 😍 Definitely worth a try! I'm impressed by the concept, flattered by its taste, it's presentation was also fairly good! 👌 Next we had was Kanchipuram Idli,its yellow in colour,the size of idlis is quite big, it melt in your mouth & besides it has loads & loads of cashews & veggies like tomatoes & capsicum in it! Good one! We also had Pizziola Paniyaram, Badaam Milk & Karupatti Kapi. Pizziola Paniyaram are nicely presented, Paniyarams are cut in halves and topped with pizza toppings like bell peppers, pizza sauce & loads of cheese! Can give a try! Badaam milk was refreshing & Karupatti Kapi was amazing! The unique thing about Karupatti Kapi that I found was it wasn't bitter like other Kapis served at other South Indian restaurants! Besides their Chutneys are Sambhars are worth drooling! ❤ Soooo fresh & soooo tasty! Overall it was a great & a unique South Indian experience for us! Besides its a budget South Indian restaurant totally worth the value! Go for it! 💃

I just love South Indian food and this place is some of the best quality South Indian varieties food you will get With different idli dosa Vada Ordered ➡️idli Kara podi and chutney ➡️quesadilla Kanchipuram ➡️uthappam pizza ➡️chocolate lava paniyaram I like the outdoor sitting over here with fresh air and fresh food Service 5/5 Food 5/5

This place is heaven for authentic south indian food lovers. Kara Podi Idlis is highly recommended dish here. Soft luscious mini idlis tossed with kariveppilai (curry leaves) and sumptuous amount of Podi are pure simple delight to the taste buds. Kara podi idli is the star dish of the day. It is served with Sambhar and two types of chutneys. Tomato chutney (red coconut chutney) and white coconut chutney (regular coconut chutney) are tasty. Idli Bhajji: In Tamilnadu valakai bhajjis (raw banana fritters) are famous. The outer covering of bhajji has taste of spices and it is slightly different than kanda bhajiya and potato bhajiya we get in Mumbai. Idli Bhajjis are made as similar to valakai bhajjis just raw banana is replaced with idlis. It’s a must must try for authentic taste of Tamilnadu Bhajjis. These Bhajjis are served with three types of chutneys , two chutneys same as Kara podi idli and an added one which is green chutney. The chutneys are real deal. Fiery Cottage Cheese Dosa Quessadilla : Dosa (or as they say Dosai) fusion is very common these days. Along with authentic south indian food fusion of Dosai, Paniyaram , Idlis are highlight of the place. This Dosa quesadilla is loaded with cheese, sauces. Cottage cheese and capsicum. The base is not actually Dosa, but thicker yellower version of Dosai. It’s a taste riot in every bite. It is served with Chipotle sauce. They have some rare dishes which I have just heard in tamilian house like Panakam, Sukku Kaapi, Karupatti Kapi. As it was busy day for them I did not get chance to taste the Kapi but it is definitely on my ‘To Do’ list. Paniyaram, Idlis, Dosai are made in front of your eyes. It’s clean and aromatic environment. If you dine in food is served in disposable plates The place does not have a lot of seating area. They also have shelves for Valakai chips ( Banana chips) Maami’s Ven Pongal, Tapioca chips as well.
