Tasted Patbingsu (Famous Korean Dessert) first time in India here. The quantity of the shaved ice was very less compared to what I had in South Korea... But it was tasty nonetheless. Loved it. Something different for dessert if you are bored with ice creams. Would gladly go again to taste different flavours.

We came across this place while exploring the food court at Infinity Mall, Malad. As the name suggests Bingsan is an Asian Dessert Cafe and they have a wide variety of milk based white snowy ice creams. They also serve waffles and pancakes. When asked the meaning of Bingsan, the staff informed us that these kind of dessert preparations are of the Korean decent and rarely available in India.
We ordered a mix fruit ice cream; it looked colorful & yummy...
It consisted of a base made with milky snow and whipped cream, which was then layered with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fruit syrup & finally they topped it with a layer of freshly chopped fruits.
The final product tasted nice and it was a nice change from the usual flavored ice creams. We ordered the smaller portion of the dessert and it was more than sufficient for two people.
The only thing is that it takes a lot of time to prepare this dish, say about 10-15 minutes per dessert.
It’s worth the money and wouldn’t hurt to try it for the novelty factor.
