A best cousin restaurant in Mumbai City. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. The Verity of food in vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Have much veriety of drinks including mocktail. We had a delicious food here. The food taste is really good. The behaviour and service of the staff is very nice. You can try the coconut paisam. It was really nice. All experience made it awesome.

Yesterday evening had a delicious meal here at this hidden gem. Had the seafood tandoori mixed platter which was a flavoursome mix of prawns, squid rings and 2 types of fish. The king fish was particularly tasty. Willis and the team are very attentive, talk you through the menu, good selection of beers including my favourite Bira White. Reasonably priced with a large portion.

This hotel has the best service as far as I have seen till today. Food is great, separate section for family since it also serves alcohol. The best thing is food is fresh and served under hot condition. I liked the coconut Payasam, Chicken kabab and fish finger. I best place for couple and family. The price is also worth given quality of service and Food. Give a try.

As said by one of the staff there, it's truly a hidden gem. Swift service, amazing food and cozy ambience will make ur dinner a memorable one. The bartender went got me a Peach whiskey sour and it was lip smacking. We had mixed seafood Pulao, butter garlic squids, assorted prawns and coconut payasam. The squids were Lil rubbery, except for that everything was just wow

Recently visited a restaurant named as GOLDEN CHIMNEY located in Lamington Road(Grant Road).This restaurant has two sections bar and family restaurant.Place is very cozy and beautifull.I ordered some drinks and dishes from the menu.... In Drinks... THE NORTHERN LIGHT V WHITE TEA V In Starters... MURGH CHEESE KEBAB In Mains.. POMFRET THALI MURGH HANDI TANDOORI ROTI BUTTER. In Dessert... TENDER COCONUT PAYASAM GC VANILLA CARAMEL FUDGE ICECREAM. Above mentioned dishes were very amazing and tasty.Specially i would say to order the MURG CHEESE KEBAB.It was very very tasty and filled with cheese inside the kebabs tastes ultimate.Drinks were very refreshing and amazing.Murg Handi and Pomfret thali was very awesome and really very tasty.Quality is the best and they serve you the fresh food which will be prepared as per your order. Talking about ambience, it was very classy and cool.As i mentioned above, they have two sections.You can come and enjoy with your friends, family and loved once.Prices are very reasonable and Staff is very cooperative and helpful. Its a great place for Family located at V. P road Girgaum serves delicious Seafood, Chinese and North Indian foods. I went with my friend and i was very impressed by its Ambiance where i feel good Vibes. In Drinks we had. White tea: A blend of Lychee and lemon grass with a hint of ginger made its taste awesome. Virgin Pinacolada : It was well prepared and had a mixture of a Tropical blend of coconut cream with a tangy pineapple which was refreshing. In starter we had Murg Cheese Kebab which was fully stuffed with Cheese and Melange of spice and was grilled in Tandoor and its taste was perfect. In Veg mains we had Golden Chimney Special with Tandoori roti it was well prepared and its gravy was very tasty. In Thali we had Pomfret Thali which was served with Mix vegetable, Fried Pomfret, Ambotic Pomfret curry, Solkadhi, Rice, Tandoori roti, Papad and Gulab Jamun which satisfied my stomach. Enjoyed the food and place. Service was excellent staff behavior was polite and friendly.

Golden chimney is a recently revamped restaurant which serves an amazing fine dining experience! They’ve two sections, one is the bar with the same unique ambience and a chic family restaurant! Known for serving delicious coastal dishes! This is what we ordered: 🔷White tea Served in a fancy smoky glass, this drink was delicious and refreshing! Love the ingredients which were pretty healthy! 🔸Strawberry margarita A classic margarita if you are a berry, fruity lover then this is your drink! 🔷Murg Cheese Kebab What’s inside the kebab will definitely surprise you! All the cheesy goodness on the inside and nice smoky chicken on the outside! Love their mint chutney as well! 🔸Prawns thali Omg the first ever authentic coastal thali! Prawns were just delicious and nicely coated with rava! The gravy served in this reminded me of Goa! Authentic Goan style curry! So delicious! Served with chapati, papad, additional veggie and delicious gulabjamun! A wholesome thali which I highly recommend! 🔷Chicken Rossa curry with Neer dosa This dish was recommended by our server, had a strong hint of turmeric! Something new and went well with neer dosa! 🔸Vanilla caramel crunch icecream Just to end your meal on a sweet note! Vanilla icecream with the caramel crunch! The service was amazing! Definitely one of a kind fine dining experience in the neighbourhood!

Visited this place yesterday and must say this place has amazing Vibes. You can definitely feel relaxed here. Best place to visit with family and friends. They make fabulous cocktail as well as mocktail. They have great varities of thali which are just phenomenonal. Staffs here are very friendly and polite. Captain Raghav has served us in a great manner. We have tried the following dishes:- In mocktail :- Virgin Pinacolada- Great drink to start the meal.It was so refreshing and rich tasting you won't even miss the alcohol. Spiced Guava -Great flavour of guava coated with masala on glass. The drink was spicy as well as sweet. In starter:- Crispy Threaded Chicken :- Totally crispy and crunchy. Smashed chicken coated with crispy noddles.It was tasting great. In Thali :- Pomfret Thali- One of the best thali ever had. Totally worth every penny. It consists of big pomfret fry which was very fresh and delicious, Pomfret curry with a pomfret piece, paneer bhaji which was fantastic,papad,rice, tandoor roti,salad, gulab jamun which was very soft and mouth melting,solkadi which was just fantastic. Each and every item was fabulous.... Highly Recommended!!!!! In Dessert:- Tender coconut payasam- It was very delicious and creamy. A must try dessert for coconut lover.. GC vanilla caramel fudge icecream- Icecream was great with great crunch. Overall a great place to visit.

Cafe Sadanand at Girgaum has been rebranded now as Golden Chimney. They have a separate bar and family dine-in section. We visited the family dine-in section. The aesthetics of the place are simply top notch. Gives a feel of a royal experience. The family dine-in section is relatively small for now and can accommodate about 10 families or so. Restaurant serves Indian, Oriental and Coastal cuisine. They have different head chefs for all their cuisines, just emphasizing their focus on every dish on the menu.The service is top notch, a special shout-out for Mr. Sameer who is the manager. Extremely courteous, prompt and helpful. The restaurant is coming up with some offers which shall start soon, maybe in the next few weeks. Special offers / discounts on weekdays and retro english music or bollywood theme nights on the weekends. Talking about what all we tried here - We started with Butta Subz Seekh (5/5) as a starter. Corn kebab was grilled to perfection. Very well presented indeed, some salad and also onion rings. Be ready to find some chilli pieces indeed in your dishes. We were served 3 different types of chutneys as well - green, mint and cherry tomato. Tasted divine along with the starter. With this we ordered a couple of mocktails - both were suggested by the servers. They were from their signature cocktails but were modified as mocktails - The Northern Light (4.4/5) and White Tea (5/5). White Tea is something really unique and was presented again in a beautiful way. Drink was served in a unique triangle glass in a bowl of liquid nitrogen. Lemongrass sticks are also used for garnishing. It is a superb blend of lychee and lemongrass and a hint of ginger.The Northern Light was a blend of fresh pineapple juice and basil. Both drinks are must haves. For mains, we had the Veg Thali (4.5/5) - which had Paneer Tikka as a starter, Paneer Makhani and Mix Vegetable along with Tandoori Roti, Rice, Papad, Solkadhi and Gulab Jamun. A complete offering priced reasonably at INR 300 per Thali. Finally for dessert we had the Golden Chimney's Vanilla Caramel Crunch Ice-cream served with Oreo Mud Pie (4.5/5). The ice-cream was a unique flavour indeed, not tried before, definitely worth trying. They also added some crunchy peanuts as the base. All-in-all, I had a great experience at the Golden Chimney, definitely worth experiencing. The bar section is usually packed even on weekdays and I expect the family dine-in section also to be packed really soon going forward. Do pay a visit in case around Opera House area.
