I used to visit this place in the 80's and 90's, growing up in Prabhadevi. Walked in 23 years later to the same taste! Familiarity, nostalgia, memories come flooding back.
The bombil fry was melt in the mouth, crisp yet perfectly cooked. The kombdi wada flavoursome.
The icing on the cake was the sol kadi! The best drink in the world. Thank you Sachin, for being so consistent.

BOMBAYDUCK (BOMBIL) FRY TASTED AWESOME, MUST TRY DISH. SURMAI FRY WAS NOT UPTO THE MARK.
BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. SMALL BUT COZY PLACE TO DINE. MUST DINE HERE IF YOU LOVE EATING NONVEG FOOD.

4 star because I've never eaten here I'm pure vegetarian but I do know this place very well the restaurant is Fully air conditioned comfortable cushion seats go-ahead give it a try .

The special fish thali has a good variety of fish. Choice of Surmai / Pomfret fry, Tisrya masala, Plain fish curry, Bombil Fry, Modka masala dry, sol kadhi, with rice and choice of chapati / wade. Priced at Rs. 480

The restaurant is small and not spacious but is clean and maintained. They serve good non-vegetarian sea food thali. A recommended place if you want to try some seafood cuisine. I had tried surmai (king fish) thali and some fried bombil (bombay duck) and the quality was good.
