Gavkari

As i love seafood,so went to try hotel new place which is newly opened in Kharghar,hotel gavkari. As the name itself say gavikari,the food here is authentic like food you will get in villages,the place is famous for thali system. So i ordered Special chicken gavkari thali-4.5/5 It had chicken stock soup,2chapati,gravy,kheema,chicken briyani,and dry chicken with their special spices masala. Kaala mutton thali-3.5/5 It had 2chapati,kaala mutton gravy,stock soup,gravy,kheema and rice. Overall it's a simple place,must visit if you like thali system food.

Unique concept of a village style menu. One of a kind menu. As authentic as it gets. Extremely tasty food. Clean. Right up there in terms of food quality. Small homely ambience. Suitable for singles, couples, small groups. Please encourage this small family restaurant. Such businesses obviously need to be encouraged in the face of large chains gobbling up small family businesses.

Gaavkari hotel is very nice place to make your weekend memorable. The food served here is very delicious and tasty. Variety of items attracted my tounge and mind. The place is on walkable distance from Prabhadevi railway station earlier Elphinston station. Mutton lovers should try special Gaavkari Mutton thali here. We had ordered the one along with Promphlet thali, surmai fry, promphlet fry, prawns masala. The other mouthwatering delicacies one should try are Pandhra rassa and solkadhi. The overall experience was superb. I would give 4.5 stars out of 5.

Explored this joint as it was listed on Zomato Gold and was in my adda. They don't have gold valid on the thalis, however that should not stop you from visiting this place. On the recommendation of the manager we tried the dry fry mutton and black chicken. Both were hits! Dry fry mutton was tender and had an explosion of taste. Same goes for the black chicken that was rooted with kholapui masalas that went well with the jowar bhakaris. To sum it up, don't judge the place by the location but the quality of food and service.

Visited this place for a Sunday night dinner. The food was very delicious. Although they have different thalis, I would personally recommend to order chicken sukha and black chicken. Boneless chicken costs 40 extra per dish (totally worth it) and even chapatis were soft and large. Would also recommend to opt for fish fry. The catch is fresh and not deep fried. Zomato gold users will love this place for one-on-one free dish. Nonetheless, other users can and should give this place a try. I am sure you will all love the food.

Very delicious maharashtrian food. You would love this place if you are diehard non-veg food lover. Tambada rassa is the best here. Chicken dry fry is also very tasty starter you can try here. Black chicken gravy is a new taste you can try which is less spicy too. You would find new taste of out of spices having black chicken. Chapati and bhakari is also very good quality. You can get nice sea food also like Surmai, prawns, pomfret etc. VERY NICE PLACE FOR MAHARASHTRIAN VEG AND NON VEG FOOD.

Quite authentic Kolhapur fare. This place was a little difficult to locate but the food was really nice. I am vegetarian so the options were fewer but I really liked the bajra roti and bharwaan Baingan (stuffed eggplant) I had as well as the solkadhi drink which is great for summers. The staff is extremely polite and helpful and the seating is nice and comfortable, with air conditioning.
