Delicious food and amazing service! This place has a lovely outdoor area a great indoor space as well. The food was so delicious! We had the pancakes and the banana foster French toast. Wow, it was incredible! The service was amazing, super friendly and attentive staff, even though they were short staffed and operating at full capacity!

We stayed across the street from this location and there was always a line, so one morning I woke up early and went for breakfast at Ruby’s! WOW! It was sooo delicious 😍 I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of fried chicken and loved every bite. Later in the day my partner wanted to try this place since I was raving about it. There was a line this time around but the staff managed it well. My partner had the white chocolate bread pudding pancakes and they were decadently divine! Definitely recommend this place!

Ruby Slipper Cafe had some great drinks and great food. I would love to come back here again next time I visit New Orleans. For someone who doesn't usually eat this time of food, it was an amazing combination of flavors and their beignets were sweet and delectable. Great find in NOLA

Came to the ruby slipper cafe for brunch in a Sunday. This place was very busy but the food is worth the wait. The staff was very communicative and very pleasant through the whole waiting process. Our server Angelina was excellent. Very fast and efficient and of course very friendly. She made great recommendations. I had the trifecta which was excellent but I would probably order the pork Benny was my favorite and would definitely order again. You should check this place out.

This place was great. The waiters were all so nice and observant. The food was delicious and the staff was helpful in assisting us out of Towner’s on the best selections. The restaurant was clean and the environment was chill! Definitely recommend!

I had some delicious eggs benedict over biscuits. They were so so good. My wife had the most delicious pancake ever. Bread pudding pancake. Neither of us finished that pancake because it screamed belly ache, both of us ended fine in the end, no belly ache but were afraid of that delicious richness.
The reasons I am lowering my score are two:
1. They charged me TEN $10 for a double espresso. It was really good, but $10? Double espresso does not mean charge me $5 twice !!!
2. We were sitting in a table next to the window and the insulation was bad and a cold breeze kept entering the window continuously. Also the staff kept opening the door continuously.

Chaotic booking system but as there are always folks waiting I suppose it doesn't really affect the business .. only the customers. Food was really tasty but poached eggs were cold, atmosphere is very loud if you like that kind of vibe. Service was great.. worth a visit if you're in the area and have an hour to kill waiting around outside before you want to actually eat.

So, I took a trip to New Orleans for the 1st time to visit my niece and her beautiful family and it was suggested to try this one cafe out if I wanted some good brunch type of of time. I accepted the suggestion , came here, ate, and left fully loaded and unbalanced due to the strong drinks and amazing food. I can see a stark difference in how deep southern cuisine variates from East, West and Northern states. The food here hit my palate with essentials variants of flavor, spices and herbs giving the taste of Creole essence. I highly encourage others living here or visiting to definitively consider coming to this highly vibe atmospheric restaurant!

It's very loud due to the crowd of people and the music combined. The food was great!... The service is great. I couldn't give it five stars on the food because my eggs were cooked too hard. I had the banana foster French toast. They make it with real French bread, not your normal sandwich bread. This place is only opened during brunch hours. There's a lot of different options. Whatever your textbooks may need. I would definitely go back. I see what I'll talk has been about! I got there about 12:45. They close at 2:00. There was only like one or two tables available and only a few seats available around the bar. There is also sitting outside of the sidewalk. Very handicap accessible.

First off.....there is a reason why there is a line out the door. The food is phenomenal! Our server was sweet and hilarious but wasn't the most available. However, she was wonderful despite that. We had the white chocolate bread pudding pancakes, the og bennies and the shrimp and grits. Mouth watering and spot on! Highly recommend.
