This restaurant had a great New Orleans atmosphere with the Ruby Slipper Decor. More Importantly, my husband loves a big breakfast that's special on vacation and this place set his day on Good to go! My breakfast was delicious as well and I was impressed by the unique menue choice. I was glad we were staying at our time share because it had a refrigerator for my take home breakfast the next day:)

Chrissy was AMAZING!! From her service with a smile to the recommendations. Always filling our drinks. You’ve scored a gem of a waitress with her. The food is so good. GET THE BREAD PUDDING PANCAKE!! Ruby slipper is a win for sure. Best food in Lousisana!

Such a find and totally worth the wait. This was the best meal we had all week in NOLA. Listen to the servers and try the Bennies. Had the one with pork debris and it was excellent. Faust made great recommendations.

The Ruby Slipper is a great option for brunch. The banana foster French toast with side of bacon is a great choice, not to mention they make a hell of a blood orange mimosa. The only down side is if you're going during the weekend you're definitely going to have to wait a while to get a table here, we're talking two hours of waiting.

It's generally really busy in the morning. To save time, you can use the Yelp app to make a reservation. It also shows you the wait-list and the wait time. The food was amazing. I ordered the banana foster frenchtoast and the peacemaker (eggs cochon and chicken St. Charles). The French toast was a bit too sweet for me. I would go back for the eggs cochon. The eggs were perfectly poached

Wish we could have went back for breakfast the next day! Totally casual, great food, and great story behind the name. Decor is adorably done in breakfast quirk. definitely be stopping in next time we're in NOLA.

Oh my delicious. Went here on a late Friday morning in December ( hours are 7a-2p) not too busy. About a 5min wait for party of 2. We were offered a short or tall chair. Our waitress was delightful and honest about the food options. I had banana foster French and my husband ordered cheese grits, eggs, sausage and a HUGE biscuit. We had some morning drinks, yes drinks and they were tasty. Really nice atmosphere. We would visit again.

We came here for breakfast on Sunday, 9/1. We got there about 8am, based on the recommended "arrive early to avoid a wait". So glad we did!! We got seated immediately and the menu was clear and exciting! I got the coffee with the shot of vodka (I mean, vacation and Nola, why the heck not!?) And hubs got the sunrise margherita. Both were insanely good, and I actually got a side of extra cream bc the vodka was strong (tip: stir in the whip cream on top to tame down the vodka if need be!). I ordered the shrimp omlett which was huge!! The biscuits we're almost head size and I never even got around to eating it! I added cheese to my potatoes ('cause, well, cheese!) And they were cooked perfect. Hubs got the sampler which had three different types of eggs with 3 different style bases and 3 different hollandaise sauces. All were Amazing and really really tasty!! By the time we left around almost 9, there was already a line and a wait out the door. Seriously recommend going early or be prepared to wait....would totally go back!!

Really great spot for brunch. Their meat Benedict’s were better than the seafood ones by a lot. I wouldn’t recommend the brandy milk cream either (except if you like alcohol in your milk)

Good breakfast with a twist. Nice staff clean place. Wasn’t really fast service but they handled the crowd. Inside and outside seating. I recommend inside because a lot of people are walking by outside plus it gets hot and muggy.
