Listen, if you truly want to enjoy a meal here then go with Ms. Shanei area of service because she greeted us with the biggest smile amd warm welcome. She suggested a jambalaya bowl with chicken and sausage and my partner had a bowl of gumbo which BTW was gone even before I could take a pic lol. I wanted a cocktail and upon her suggestion got a 'Lemonade' with dbl the alcohol. Let me tell ya - Shanei is the best. Excellent service.

The staff at the market cafe are the absolute best in the city. My partner and I were in New Orleans for a couple weeks and we ended up at this place at least once a day whether for food or a quick drink to go. It’s by far my favorite spot in the city. I wanna give a massive shout out to both Bridgets, Shani and James. You guys are all absolutely amazing. The best service we’ve ever gotten and y’all made us sad to have to leave the city. Thank you guys and can’t wait to come back and see y’all again.

This market is friendly and warm, there is outdoor and indoor seating. They even have a great jazz band out front to enjoy. Our server Darryl was such a joy and helpful with finding our way through their menu. He gave my boyfriend and I great recommendations on food and amazing New Orleans hospitality. Can’t wait to come back on our next visit.

We visited as part of a foodie tour. Our server was so funny and personable. The food was absolutely wonderful!! We had alligator bites-- which were not tough and definitely the best alligator I've ever had! Full of flavor. My husband got a bloody Mary. He said it was delicious. He's had better ones... but he says for the price point... it was awesome. We were also given the muffuletta sandwich, on that amazing bread...and the oil dip. Delicious! You don't have to like olives to find this perfect sandwich amazing!! Go there! Eat it! Lol
