Pokey

Great poke from here! I was excited to find a good poke place in Norfolk area. The service was very quick which I loved, he got all three of our bowls done all at once! I wish the protein scoops were bigger than they were because there’s so much toppings and rice but overall the toppings were delicious and I’d come back here. I got a Thai iced tea with boba and the boba was delicious and warm.

I always eyed this place, but for some reason just never went. I went today during my break. Right when i went in, one of the staff welcomed me with a smile. It was my first time going and he helped me figure everything out. His service was extremely fast and made my boba smoothie before i even paid. I got the matcha smoothie with strawberry pop boba. I also got a miso ramen. Unfortunately i didnt take a photo of the ramen. Such an adorable family owned hole in the wall spot. They even ask you how much sugar you want in your drink!! Would highly recommend this place to eat if you want comfort food to make you happy, and a full belly that will make you crave more.

A newbie in Norfolk( tourist 😊). It was getting dark, me and my husband is looking for a place to eat, walking by Granby St, thinking to find 7Eleven. 😊 Viola, we found Pokey Poke Bowl, my husband just said, that’s my dinner! We ordered one Pokey Bowl and a bubble tea 🧋. Their Bowl have a lot of variety of toppings. Very nice customer service and the price is just right. We had our order to go.

I'm so stuffed from 1 bowl. Best lunch decision I made! Spicy mayo is addictive!! I had a large matcha milk bubble tea. My daughter got 70% sugar, it wasn't sweet enough, her "child taste" won over "adult sophistication"! 🤣 I was starving, so I commenced shoveling as soon as food got here. Will definitely order delivery or get take-out from Pokey Poke again!! *GrubHub shout out to Dontell who delivered the food!! 🙌🏾 Super Star 🌟 🤩

Fantastic build your own poke bowl. The serving was generous and the staff was accommodating. Great topping options. A guide describing them would have been nice, but the server was very informative. Lots of veggie and fruit options and crunchy bits. Seaweed salad topping! They also have build your own ramen, Mochi, gelato, and macaroons! Short hours sunday 3-9.

Apologies for the somewhat eaten bowl. I was getting too excited and ate some before remembering that I want to give the place a review. The location was hard for me to locate, but it is mostly due to some unrelated road work obstructing my view. I had a free miso soup and the poke bowl itself was great and actually pretty affordable compared to other poke bowls. I’d totally come back. Now excuse me I will now feast on this deliciousness.
