Never again. 1:30 pm on a Sunday, one person working so can only order pizza or wings. We ordered a full pepperoni and cheese, 12 boned wings with Buffalo Sauce and 12 boneless as BBQ. beer tap now working so had to order bottle beer or mixed drinks. Coke not working either so limited to sprite or diet coke. Mixed drinks were very weak and served in large shot glasses with no ice . Pizza had enough sauce on it for 3 pizzas and had a large amount of red pepper (I didn't mind but spicy isn't for everyone). The boned wings were a mix of BBQ sauce and Old Bay seasoning..... NOT Buffalo Sauce!! The boneless wings were basically McDonald's chicken nuggets and we're a mix of garlic sauce and Old Bay seasoning.... Not BBQ..... And can in no way be called a boneless wing. Tried to charge for and extra pizza and the credit card machine didn't work. Out of half the stuff, Overpriced!!! Bad service and horrible food. Never again!!!!!!!

Pizza was really uninspiring and took a surprisingly long time to get, considering there were very few other guests when I went to pick it up. A lot of bland, rubbery cheese, and they didn't even have the stuff to make my first choice off their menu. It does seem to have a pretty good beer selection, so if you're just looking for a good place to drink, it's, uh, not the worst place to choose. I guess.

Place is always empty when I drive by, but I figured I’d give it a try. Great selection of beer & although a little over priced the menu looked good. Service is the worst my family & I have experienced since moving to downtown Norfolk. Food was very good but over an hour to serve us a pizza with only 3 other customers in the establishment. Cook was more interested in taking numerous smoke breaks, texting on her phone, & blaming day cook for not having all her kitchen prep done. Example...no bacon for $14 appetizer we wanted to order, although we never saw her prep any for any future customers. She also blamed the hour plus wait time on pizza due to day cook not thawing any dough out. I’m sure she clocked in way before 6:30pm for her shift & could have pulled some out. I just thought the manager or owner might want to know what’s going on & maybe why there is little business.

Despite less than stellar experiences in the past here, I stopped through on a Friday evening and pulled up at the bar. As I sat I heard staff explain to a table behind me that there weren't enough clean forks for each of them... Apparently the day staff had not done dishes the way they were expected to. Next to me a diner was served her food and spent four or five minutes trying to get someone's attention for silverware and extra napkins. A manager had apparently arrived and was there to change out kegs. He was polite, like the bartender, and the beer i was served was cold, but I waited long enough for a second beer to be ready to leave. Staff seemed very uncomfortable to have the 'boss' there. A group that had come in after me was told that they should sit where they wanted and someone would be there to serve them... While I sat there with an empty glass in front of me I watched them squirm without being greeted too. Sadly disappointed with service at a place that I was excited to see move into Norfolk after great experiences in the past across the water in Portsmouth.

We've tried this lace a couple of times. The first time, we tried to order pizza via orderup, and Humboldt Steel canceled the order because they were out of some of the ingredients. We ordered from their stock menu with no substitutions. I tried it in person a couple of weeks ago, and despite the fact that the place was dead, it took forever to get served at the bar. The beer selection is decent, but the service is poor. At the end of the evening, the bartender offered to give us 10% off if we paid cash.

Great beer selection. Good pizza at a fair price. Ok service. Parents of littles be warned, it is not at all kid friendly. Mostly high top bar tables with spinning stools. One high chair that would not allow a child to reach the table. Two bench seating areas are available, but you would have to hunch over to eat as the tables are basically the same height as the benches.
