Sisters Cafeteria

First timer. Here's my experience. #1 Woman at the counter was kinda rude. The guy in front of me wanted his sauce on the side and she straight up said "No" hahaha Then said it would be 50 cents extra... that's BS #2 I ordered Teriyaki Chicken and Shrimp. I got Dynamite Chicken and Shrimp. #3 The food was good. 4/5 good. #5 The food was also SEVERELY expensive for being served out of a shack. $12+ for the food with no drink =$15 with tip . For that kind of pricing, I was expecting a pretty good sized plate of food, but as you can see in the picture (pre-eating ANYTHING) the container of food wasn't necessarily full, and is probably the smallest of that type of container that I've EVER seen. The CD next to the food is for scale. You do the math.

The photos online do not reflect current pricing. Two beef bowls and one shrimp yakisoba totaled over $40. The woman working at the window wasn't very friendly and seemed to find it humorous that I asked to make sure the price was right for three items. The food lacked flavor and quality - it had that 'old meat' flavor. All of our meals were greasy and the fried rice was basically just rice and tasted like cheap, artificial, soy sauce. The portions are large, but for poor quality, not worth it.

Really enjoyed the chicken teriyaki, but the dynamite chicken was too hot for either me or my husband to enjoy the flavor of the dish by itself. If you are sharing with a friend, I would recommend getting one of each, and eating half the chicken teriyaki with half the dynamite chicken. Great portion sizes and efficient service (we called ahead to place our order)

It doesn't look like much but the food more than makes up for it. The portions were exceedingly generous, cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was a one man operation when I went today but the cook/cashier/waiter did a great job. But I will say if you walk up to to the order window and shout; "Hey!!" while he's cooking don't be surprised if you get a dirty look in return. A little courtesy and manners goes a long way. It's the perfect place to grab lunch on the run. I'll be back!
