Whiskey Creek Wood Fire Grill

We quit going here as the quality of food appeared to be lacking for what you pay. So, today was the first time in a year or more we had been here to eat. It was terrific. I order my steak medium well (yes, I am one of THOSE people LOL). The steak was cooked perfectly and still super tender. The service was great. I felt like the experience really redeemed itself and we will definitely be back.

This is a good choice for dinner. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere inside with plenty of seating. The staff that I had interaction with seemed nice. The inside was tidy which is always a plus. Bathroom was super clean and has a very good automatic air freshener system. The food came out fresh. I experienced 3 different flavors of the bone in Wings, they were delicious. For my meal I ordered the Woodfired Salmon with steamed broccoli and a loaded baked sweet potato. The broccoli was great and sweet potato had great flavor. I was a little let down by the Salmon, I expected it to have a little more "grill" flavor but instead it still had a fairly strong fishy aftertaste. Not bad enough that I didn't eat it but certainly not the best I've had. All and all it was a pleasant experience and I will go back to try another dish.

Good brisket dinner with redskin mashed potatoes. Fire-grilled veggies.were firm and delicious. Dinner companions 6 oz. petite medium-rare flat-iron steak was done perfectly and had great flavor. Our server Faith was super! She was attentive, made sure our glasses were kept full and that we were happy with our meal. We will be back!

My girlfriend and I were returning home from visiting family in Billings, MT. Decided to stop in Norfolk, NE at this Whiskey Creek. We were seated with a smile and served promptly. Our waitress was training another girl but in no way did this interrupt our service. Our food was delicious as always. ( We had visited the Hays, KS location a few times) and even had a manager in a red shirt named Kendra stop by our table to inquire about our service and food. We were impressed by this. Anytime we travel now we make it a part of our trip. Excellent salads and nice atmosphere. Great Job Whiskey Creek!!
