Leonardo's

Went in for cooked breakfast while waiting for car to be fixed at Halfords. I had the biggest breakfast...all quite nice apart from the sausages which I wasn't a fan of at all. 3 x bacon, 2 x eggs, 2 x sausages, 2 x toast, 2 x hash browns beans, mushrooms which were quite chewy, but tasty and I love them like that. I didnt have the 2 x fried bread as not a fan. Good value, just improve the sausages id say.

It really depends on what your expectations are when it comes to reviewing food. If you go expecting good quality produce and get mediocre, you'd be disappointed. At Leonardo's, I got what I expected. The coffee was good. The fully English was reasonable - crispy bacon (which I requested), tepid baked beans, cheap breakfast sausage, deep fried (why?) mushrooms, hash brown and a good friend egg. Service was ok. Reasonably priced.

A lovely little cafe in the centre of town. Clean, well-presented tables over two floors as well as a couple of tables available outside. Lots of food choices - salads, paninis, jacket potatoes, cakes, and some more substantial meals. Hot and cold drinks as well as a small selection of alcoholic drinks. Prices are quite good. I paid just over £20 for a panini, jacket with prawns, and two hot chocolates. The meals were enjoyable, although there was a lot of butter on the potato and barely noticeable amount of Marie Rose sauce on the prawns - that would be my only complaint. It is table service then pay at the counter afterwards. Service was excellent. Ground floor is accessible (although it may be a squeeze for some wheelchairs and pushchairs). I didn't use the toilet so can't comment on that.
