My partner and I have gone here for breakfast a few times and we always have a great experience. They have the traditional breakfast options such as pancakes, eggs, potatoes, fruit, French toasts, omelettes, etc. When we went today we got the Mediterranean omelette and the two eggs with pancakes. Everything was a fair price, good portions, fresh, tasted great and prepared fast. Our waiter was also very friendly and personable. Another plus is they have gluten free toast and potatoes that taste great, so if you are celiac like me you won’t have worry about substituting your sides.

We walked in, I already had a reservation. They checked our vaccine passports. They said, we would have to wait till 11am when our reservation was at. We waited till 11am. Then, they seated us in a booth. It was quite busy for a Saturday. We both got the breakfast meal. It was delicious. The service was quick.

We had the Greek Chicken Salad and the Greek Style Haddock (it’s not a Greek restaurant that just happened to be the items that we were attracted to on the menu). Both excellent! Good pleasant service. Good crowd and everyone looked happy… always a good sign. PS, we had the Sticky Toffee for deserts…

Reliable restaurant. We always go with family and everyone always finds something to order. The portions are huge American style, which is not my style, but others love it. But, Chances R’s problem is inconsistency. The cocktails are a hit or a miss. Stick with bottles, draught, canned cider, or wine. I get teased by the four or so cocktails on their list & when I order them, they are always a let down. Not tasty at all, and very much what you would expect from a mall-restaurant or diner. Their food is always a hit or miss (we have been going here for 10+ years so this isn’t a one-off) I ordered the beef dip this time around, which is usually my favourite item on the entire menu. The beef was so dry not even the au-jus could save it. My fries were burnt, the gravy was chunky and they do use shredded mozzarella for their poutine. But my kid’s fries were perfect, and our order came out at the same time. I wanted to order sweet potato fries, but they don’t carry a spicy or chipotle mayo for it. Just an applewood mayo, our server informed us. The kids pizza was very undercooked - that neither of the kids enjoyed it, where as previous times they wolfed it down and loved it so much that they continued to order it. We understand there are a ton of staffing issues across the city, but for a restaurant like this we definitely expect to see more consistency across the board. As the food or drinks aren’t really “elevated” or “complicated” it’s just a regular pub / family restaurant menu. Maybe their menu needs to be smaller so they can make sure the items they do have are the same quality every time. We will be back - as it the grandparents favourite place.

Went for my birthday dinner, the food and service was good. Taking a star off cause we were assigned a table that wasn't in the most comfortable area. When we asked to change, we were told those tables were reserved, but they were left empty from when we got there till the restaurant closed which was strange. All in all a decent place to dine!

My absolute favourite place for brunch. Been coming here since the pandemic and it has never disappointed. My family always looks forward to our visits. Breakfast food here is always amazing; eggs done perfectly, French toast that can’t be beat (even by the much missed Baker Street Cafe). Best part is the staff; always friendly and super accommodating for my toddler, who may love our visits even more than I do!
