Seached high and low for pancakes in Paris and found breakfast in america 1. I had the Pancakes & my wife and kids had the lumber jack with french toast & both were great. To top it off we had the best oreo milkshake ever. The staff was very nice and the owner was pleasant and recommend a few attractions for us to visit in the area.

We came here to have a big breakfast/brunch. The room was 80% packed, we sat in a booth for 4, but the waitress told us to sit at a table for 2, bacause there should have been some bigger group coming. Imagine the TINIEST table in the world. I'm talking a dollhouse table here! Even the menus did not fit on the table, let alone full breakfast for two people.
Thus started our disappointment.
It continued with an unattentive staff. We told the waitress we needed two minutes to pick the food. Meanwhile she started eating lunch at a bar, literally 30cm next to us! So we waited 15 minutes to order breakfast...
The food quality was WAY below avarage. Coffee was disgusting.
My conversation with the waitress during payment as follows.
Waitress: "Was everything good?"
Me: "No."
Waitress: - silence -
Apparently, they don't give a damn about any feedback.
Needless to say, the booth for four remained empty all the way through our visit.
If you want to enjoy nice breakfast, go enjoy it somewhere else.

What a fantastic place to have an all American breakfast. The food is excellent and the service is as well. What a friendly place to eat and feels like home.
Great prices too! Can’t recommend it enough. Go if you have a change.

Love B.I.A.! As an American living in Paris, it was such a treat to find this place. They truly have authentic American-style food. Although they serve burgers, fries and milkshakes, we have only tried breakfast (served all day!). Their pancakes are some of the best I've ever had (splurge a little extra and get the real maple syrup). Staff is friendly and professional, and everyone speaks both French and English (and I'll bet some speak other languages in addition to the first two). If you enjoy reading, I'd suggest owner, Craig Carlson's book "Pancakes in Paris." His is a true American Success Story!

When you're needing a "craving" for American breakfast, lunch or dinner BIA is the place to go. Excellent food, ambiance, music and the service is beyond with cheerful staff! Read "Pancakes in Paris" for the true understanding of how unique this diner is in Paris! My husband and I loved it and Great Traditional Thanksgiving dinner if you find yourself in Paris on Thanksgiving Day.

Not many restaurants are open early in the mornings here but we found this restaurant and being away from the states, I was really missing my American breakfasts. They had everything I was wanting to eat, buttermilk pancakes, banana pancakes, real bacon, sausage, eggs. You name it and it was delicious. We decided to eat breakfast there the next day as well before we left. It was amazing and the waitress made us feel right at home. She was from the south as were we. Next time I'm in Paris, this is.my.go to spot for breakfast or whatever because breakfast is served all day long.

On our first tip to Paris we found this little gem within walking distance of our hotel...ate there every morning...loved the staff, the food and hearing the history! Would highly recommend!

My wife and I celebrated our first Thanksgiving in Paris at BIA. Craig couldn't have been more hospitable, making us feel welcomed. The food was excellent and Craig autographed his book which is excellent. Highly recommend this gem of Americana in Paris!

A spectacular surprise in the heart of Paris. Special mention for the French toast which was outstanding but not to detract from the rest of the food which was absolutely amazing. Would definitely make this a regular spot

Breakfast in America is one of those places that actually gives you the American feel. From the decor to the music. AND don't forget the food! Very authentic. Would highly recommend to the traveler and natives alike!

Just when you wake up all jet lagged in Paris, craving for a good ole American breakfast!
Run into this lil restaurant and it was as if the heavens opened up! The best service by the nicest, red headed, all American girl!
Travis DeCastro
If you're an Americann and just need an American breakfast of eggs coffee and toast this is a great place. Home fried close but not quite there and over easy is a little hard but heck. It's a big cup of coffee and you can have a lot of it.
Kelly-Anne Tavares
We had the most amazing breakfast here, their stack of pancakes and eggs with bacon is delicious!!! Highly recommended you have a meal here!

First of all it is very dirty..dust was all over ..behind the posters on the wall.... second food is super oily and bad quality. Bread tasted like paper and we are talking about cafe in Paris ( bread paradise ) . If you are looking for big portions and bad quality its a place to be
..otherwise avoid !
