Satkar Rice Plate House

It's very well known restaurant in town for the sea food speciality. It's a branch of Mumbai based restaurant and serving in Pune since quite a long time. The ambiance is good, service is very quick and the quantity of all items is proportionate to it's price. There are options available for thalis as well as ala-a-carte menu items. The specialities include seafood and chicken which is cooked in special malvani masala. One can get very authentic manvani food experience here. Along with curries and fish fries, there are options of bhakari chapati and even bhajani wade. They have good options in veg section also, one can choose from veg thali or few veg dishes. Service is extremely quick and everything was served very hot. I am very much delighted with the experience this time, but the quality mostly depends on the freshness of fish. The last time I had visited it was not so good but this time it was great. I do recommend this restaurant for a hardcore non veg foodie who especially loves the seafood and malvani cuisine.

Atmosphere is good , hygeine. Services are good n people are polite .food quality is good n tasty. Rates are on higher side if we compair it with home made. Ofcourse the quantity will be good enough for family. I njoyed the food as I was hungry. We ordered Pomfret thali n prawns thali ,included Vada n solkadhi.

Excellent place to have seafood. The quantity is perfect and the quality is too notch. The Thalis are the most popular dishes, and deservingly so. I had the prawn masala and rava prawn fry. The gravy was thick, rich and spicy. The surmai gravy on the other hand was light, not-spicy but still yummy. Will be back soon :)
