The Great Punjab

The Great Punjab is a delightful Punjabi restaurant that genuinely captures the essence of authentic Punjabi and North Indian cuisine. I recently had the pleasure of dining there and was thoroughly impressed. The masala papad, a flavorful appetizer, set the tone for an enjoyable meal. I opted for the palak paneer with laccha paratha for my main course, and it was an absolute delight—the creamy palak paneer paired perfectly with the flaky and crispy laccha paratha, creating a mouthwatering combination. I also had a refreshing glass of chhach (buttermilk), a cooling and traditional beverage to complement the rich flavours of the meal. Additionally, the restaurant's excellent service added to the overall experience. The polite and attentive attendants made our visit even more enjoyable, and the availability of ample parking space was a convenience that made the dining experience hassle-free. The Great Punjab truly offers a well-rounded and satisfying dining experience. The only minor disappointment was my craving for sarson ka saag. Unfortunately, it was available as canned food because it's traditionally made with fresh mustard greens, which are only in season during winter. While it was a minor letdown, I appreciate the restaurant's commitment to using fresh ingredients.
