Creperie De Paris

Closed during their business hours, even with an open sign being displayed. I called in advance to confirm they were open, because it's far from where I live. They confirmed they were open, yet when I arrived they were closed. I know their food and crepes are good from previous visits, but their service and info needs to improve as this led to a very disappointing and stressful experience.

I ordered the chicken pesto and the dark chocolate w/banana, and there were some problems. The chicken pesto was good but didn't wow me, but the chocolate crepe had a *lot* of banana, and not a lot of chocolate and didn't have the powdered sugar I ordered. It wasn't great. I ordered take out, and ordered well in advance so I could walk around the mall and set my pick-up time for 6 p.m. I arrived at about 5:50, and it took several minutes before anyone even greeted me. Then they had some trouble finding my order, and then realized it was already sitting on the counter. I should've known this would be a bad sign, because the order shouldn't have been made for another 10 minutes but it was already sitting there. Sure enough, the food was stone cold, so I had to reheat the crepes myself. Also, the salad that came with the pesto was put in the same box, right on top of the crepe separated by just a sheet of parchment paper. So I had 2 cold crepes and a warm salad, mediocre customer service, and only one of the crepes was actually good. Definitely wouldn't order take out again. I'd bet it'd be better eating there, but this experience was a turnoff so I don't know that they'll get another chance.
