Such an incredible gem in Richmond! My friend and I stopped in to grab a quick bite to take with us, the owner was so kind, shared his favorites, what would be quickest, and even gave us an additional side to try. The food was OUTSTANDING!! We ate every bite, and are already planning to come back. Thank you so much!

We came here for a ladies night out. Rachael was a great server! She explained the menu so well to us. We tried some Ethiopian wine and it was divine! The owner of the restaurant even came by to check on us and he was such a sweet man! We will definitely be back

Oh how delighted we are to have found this delightful place. You must start your meal out with a Sambussas. We ordered one for the table to split and not a drop left. We ordered a vegetarian plate to gets lots of veggies and a assorted meat plate to include Lamb Chicken and Stew! We will be Back!!!

My family keeps coming back here because the food is reliable, prices are reasonable, and it’s usually easy to get a table without needing to make a reservation. We usually order all 6 veg dishes and add on a meat dish.

Nice service and new things to try out. People were very generous to explain the menu and give us the samples. One thing I was not happy is I found a hair. But they took care of it right away.

I have eaten Ethiopian food around the world including in Ethiopia. The food really stood up and was very very tasty. If this is your first time getting Ethiopian I highly recommend getting the vegetarian sampler because vegetables are when the things they do the best in Ethiopia. The one young lady who was doing all the serving was really hustling and I don’t know how she did all she did. They have a nice outside area if it’s a nice day. The interior was very very fresh. And we really enjoyed our experience!

Excellent restaurant right in the middle of downtown Richmond.
The service provided by the waitress was friendly and the food was tasty, although a bit on the bland side.
Some of the better injera I have had.
I do wish the food was served warm instead of room temp (I got veg entree), and the wait time was long for the food to arrive. Otherwise very good.

Great service... we had them bring "food for 5". We got a wonderful selection of veg and meat dishes. The beets were delicious and the injera easy to use. Highly recommended
