Dinesty Chinese Restaurant

We've been here three times and each time my family loves eating their food here. Their food has good portions and is very flavorful. My kids really enjoy their steamed dumplings (they can eat several containers of those things). We brought a family friend there for dinner and they really enjoyed the food as well. Will definitely be back for more. If you plan to come then I recommend that you make a reservation!

LOVED the Soup Dumplings!! We came here for dinner on New Years Eve!! Our party of five snuck in without a reservation and were pretty lucky!! Everything we tried was delicious!! Green Onion Pancake...so good!! Cucumber Salad...so fresh and tart. Pot Stickers were delicious and our Chicken dish devine. This place is an establishment...check it out if you can!!

This was an AMAZING place. The food was some of the best we had while on a trip to the area. We went for just dumplings and we were rewarded. They were probably the best dumplings we have ever had. It is really great that you can also see them making the dumplings while you are at your seat. It makes it a great experience. The price was very reasonable. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We got there when the restaurant was opening and there was already a queue. So reservations are probably required. So worth it. GREAT food. The staff while busy were pleasant and kept the dumplings coming when we kept on ordering new rounds.

I've come here a few times, but always hesitate to come back. Nevertheless, I cannot deny that the food is quite excellent. Prices are not exorbitant either, I enjoyed the dimsum experience overall. However, the service can sometimes be a massive letdown, as I've consistently seen the past 3 times I was here. Our steamed orders came extremely late, we would think they were delayed for over an hour. Staff kept telling us it would come soon, however we kept waiting and eventually after an hour part of our steamed order came. We finished it and didn't want to wait for the rest, no restaurant should keep their diners waiting for so long. I still give a quite generous 4* because of the quality of the food at a decent price, however beware of the service.

Food is relatively good. Be prepared to wait as queues can be long. Food: We ordered two baskets of "Xiao long bao" or soup dumplings, one was the seafood variety, and the other, the pork and something, and a scallop fried rice. Seafood dumplings were not good. Dumpling skin was thick, and no soup in the dumpling. Very disappointed with it. The pork one was a lot better, given that it's their speciality, thin skin, with a small portion of meat inside. Broth was good, meat was alright. Fried rice was good, generous servings of fried egg, but scallops were a little rarer. Rice was a little to the oilier side. Overall, the food quality is alright for the price. Could be better. Price: I've uploaded the menu for you to take a look at the prices. But we paid about ~CAD15/pax Service: Alright, and reasonably fast service. Don't expect service with a smile. It's your typical Chinese restaurant. Location: Parking can be hard given the popularity of the location. Would I recommend? Yes. Go with family and friends. The more people you bring, the lower the average cost will be. For the quality of food, reasonable price, I think it's a relatively good place to eat.
