I am not an expert about Japanese Culinary, I visited here just to give a try. The taste is okay, I liked. But the amount of the meat in my plate should have been more for that price. For instance, I didn't understand why my burger patty was half cut out.

Food was great and service was quick and friendly. I really enjoyed cooking my meal in the plate with the appetizing smell; yum yum. Price was also reasonable considering the amount of meat in my dish. On top of that, my server was kind enough to keep my phone after I forgot it until I came back.
Would definitely recommend for those looking for a quick lunch.

We have ordered two takes our, one large size and a regular size. End up, both portion are same as regular’s. I am confused what is the point of buying a large (extra) portion. Would love to hear a reply from pepper lunch if possible.

Really good lunch place to eat at! Have had pepper lunch in Japan this one is just as good as the ones in Japan! Fun place to eat lunch and very reasonably priced!

First time here. Staff is friendly, especially the front end girl, wish I could remember her name. Very polite. Food tasted great and is a neat style of restaurant.
The only downside was the portion size of meat. For the price you pay, there should be more.

Cool restaurant for sure. Food was really good. I had the beef curry with rice and it was really good. I didn't know that the meat cooks in the plate when they serve it to you so that was a surprise. The hot plate also keeps the food warm throughout the meal. Cool artwork on the wall. Menu was all digital with different menu items featured. You can see the kitchen from the tables which is different as well. Sign outside is hard to see so you have to keep am eye out but it's located near the skytrain which is convenient. Highly recommend.

Enjoyable. Pricey for what it is, particularly the kid's meal. Friendly service. Free London Plaza parking. Two washrooms. Accepts credit, debit, cash. Two locations in Richmond.
Loyalty card only applicable for Pepper Rice menu, but not other items.

This was not a very good place. The food tasted bad - no real flavour to it. The stone bowl is so hot its so hard to eat. I cant really figure out if it's Japanese food or Filipino food. Overall, not good.
