Steveston Built Local Taphouse

I have had the opportunity to play live music here for many years & enjoy the delicious meals on the menu. The staff is one of a kind. This incredible restaurant & bar has such a welcoming vibe. Enjoy dining indoors or outdoors on their patio this summer! Also within walking distance is the Steveston boardwalk, which has a lovely view of the river. Perfect for date night, a evening out with friends or perhaps even solo!

This is one of new favorite spots now. Finally found a place where you can relax, have a beer, and have a conversation without having music blasting so loud in your ears. The music is just perfect. Though we waited a bit too long for food, it was very delicious. The prices are fair and portions are big. We all enjoyed our meals. I'd never admit this again, but I had a bite of their Beyond Veggie Burger and it tasted better than my beef Burger...

Service was slower than I would have preferred given that it wasn't particularly busy. Once we ordered the food came out fairly quickly. My steak was cooked a bit more on the rare side than what I ordered but was acceptable. My fries came out ice cold, which when pointed out were quickly replaced with fresh ones. My dining partners beef dip had cold cheddar on it, would be nice if they tried to melt it a bit before hand. Overall the food and service were just ok. The beer selection was decent but easily beaten by other establishments in the area. I'll give this place another try in 6 months to a year before deciding not to return again.
