White Spot Ackroyd

A huge amount of food providing exactly what you’d expect. You get so much food for your order, I should have just split something it was so much. The burger was very flavorful. The gravy in the poutine was super tasty as well! Overall it exceeded my expectations and assumptions that I had when originally heading it. A great spot for some lunch!

It's been a while since I've gone to White Spot since their quality had been going down in all their branches. We went recently and definitely saw a great improvement! All of the food was hot, fries and zoo sticks were not soggy or cold. Only complaint was the appetizer, wish they kept the sauce separate from the squid.

I came in, said that I was a little bit early for a fairly large party, and asked them to set up a table. The hostess at the front wouldn't do that. She gave me a slip of paper that had the restaurants phone number on it, and asked me to phone the office and speak to the manager. Which I did. The manager, even though I explained the situation, didn't simply direct the hostess, or someone else, to prepare a table. No, the manager came down to the front of the restaurant, and spoke to me, whereupon I told him the same story. He then got someone to prepare a table. This seems to me rather strange. As I say we were a large party, 10 of us, with people arriving at different times. The wait staff did a fairly good job of managing all of this. Waiting until we thought most people had arrived, we did order at that point, and that order came pretty much all together. At least, within a few minutes of the first items being served, the last items were served as well. The food was, as is usual with White Spots, fairly consistent. As a family restaurant you don't expect gourmet meals, but everything was decent, at the right temperature, and the fries, as always, we're exemplary.

JESSICA IS AN AMAZING WORKER AND I LOVE HER EVERYTIME I SEE HER I GET SO EXCITED BECAUSE I KNOW ILL HAVE A GREAT TIME🥰💕 Sorry- back on track 😩 The food here is always 💯 the only thing is their prices are waayyy too high for a non fine dining restaurant. If I’m paying $18+ for a burger set I expect it to be a phenomenal burger, not just good- but anyways yeah milkshakes are very good

We enjoy white spot because everyone can find something good to eat. Well today, one meal was forgotten, food was cold, water and coffee took 20 minutes to get. On thé burgers, it was obvious the fries had been sitting around for some time. Really not at all the standard of what I expect from this restaurant.
