I frequently come here for lunch and dinner. They’re dumplings and soups are absolutely delicious for a fair price. They are quite popular within that cafeteria. It’s all freshly made by two lovely ladies at the front. You can even watch them make the dumplings by hand - it’s as if their hands work 24/7 each day I’m there!

We were sooo hungry and wanted some easy quick food as we had to get to a meeting in an hour so we stopped at this mall for the first time and after going through a few reviews we ordered the beef rolls and the grilled pork dumplings with chives. I asked them to make both of them spicy but they said they can’t do that..lol So I asked if they had chilli oil and they said yes so I went ahead with the order cuz I knew I could use the chilli oil. The food took 10-15 mins to get ready as this place had quite a few orders. The beef rolls is a SCAM! The beef to the fried flour bread is pathetic. You are literally eating layers of rolled up fried flour bread with barely any meat! They have such thin slices of beef and I think they put them in a single line and roll them up which is why you get such less meat and 90% flour fried bread!!!! The meat is on the sweet side..apparently bbq! Now the pork dumplings is another story altogether. It is super yum!!! Juicy and flavorful with a good amount of Pork. Thank God right! Oh and by the way .. both of the dishes cost around $10 bucks each. I think if ur gonna order from here just get the dumplings cuz u will actually get what ur supposed to or maybe the scallions pancake cuz they wouldn’t need to skim on the meat cuz it’s supposed to be only scallions and no meat! Phew!

5 stars for food quality and selection! Highly recommended. Service is friendly but a far cry from fast. It's understood that it's fresh to order so it'll take some time, we appreciate that, so a 10-15 minute wait makes sense, but when you make people wait 30 minutes for whatever reason, this needs to be fixed. So although I highly recommend this place for the food experience, just beware of the long wait times, hopefully the owner can fix this, was it would be a 5 star establishment, and a gem to have in Richmond! Great XLB and grilled buns, as well as noodles and everything else!

Surprisingly discovered this through regularly watching strictly dumpling on youtube a few years ago, so thank you Mike! This place has now been in my top 5 go to places ever since. 😅 The 3 items I usually order are xiao long bao - perfect balance of the wrapper, not too thick or thin and packs quite a bit of soup. chinese burger - good spices, not too strong and bread has a good chew to it, would definitely add spicy flavor to enhance. scallion pancakes - good serving size for it's price, its filling and flavorful. But i would definitely recommend the boiled dumplings! They're like a meatier mini xiao long bao!
