Bubble Waffle Cafe

Been a fan of Bubble Waffle for many years, the problem with these franchises is that it really depends on the owner / staff and how passionate they are with the restaurant. I found a few locations that had the worse food or the worse service one of them is the one in aberdeen centre(Just a complete downhill experience). Meanwhile this location is on a whole another level. Amazing food, fresh delicious quite possibly one of the best bubble waffles in town. EVEN their COFFEE was freaking amazing. Thank you to girl that served it. I'll be back :)

This review is for the Ironwood Mall location. In my opinion, it’s current Google rating is too low when I think back about the food quality and service experienced tonight. This location is a sit down restaurant type of place with 12 to 15 tables. We ordered the standard Hainanese Chicken with Rice and Hainanese Laksa Chicken with yellow noodles. Both dishes were really good - we thought the dishes were flavourful and came with decent portion sizes. For the $11.68 meal it also included an ice lemon tea that quenched our thirst. We paid the extra $1.50 add-on price for the standard bubble waffle - it arrived at our table hot and tasty. The girls working tonight were great - explaining the different offerings and combos available and towards the end of our meal there was a small line up out the door. This location met all of my expectations for fast friendly service, with good food, served with fresh ‘n Hot Bubble Waffles. They were so good we bought four Bubble Waffles. I would say out of the 3 or 4 Bubble Waffle Cafe locations we have visited this one so far is #1 on our list.

Somewhat salty and the soup noodle wasn't cooked thoroughly and the noodles were too tough to chew. Having said that, staff was actually friendly and asked how come we didn't touched the noodle and offered to re-cook. Most servers probably would not give any concern into why customer didn't touch a big portion of the food. The attitude earned them a 4 star.

Been wanting to try this location for a while now and finally got to do so. Everything we ordered was pretty good, not the best, but I've had worst. What we ordered was flavorful and tasted fresh. Service was fast and friendly, and the server was able to answer the questions we had. Price is also pretty good for the amount of food we got.

Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch today. Best food in this area as far as my tastebuds and stomach are concerned. I highly recommend this place over anything else in ironwood. May 4th, 2018. For the first time i have to give this place a negative review. The soup noodles i ordered was absolutely bland. Like hot water only kinda bland. I remove my previous five star rating and update with a single star.

This is a sit-down restaurant unlike some of the other Bubble Waffles in the food courts. Also for those who have never been here, this is first, a soup place (such as Deer Garden Signature Restaurant) with other Taiwanese dishes. My favorite broth is the laksa. It's spicy and tangy with coconut milk. You have milk tea, bubble tea, etc. and of course the bubble waffles. They are thin, crispy and yummy with a hint of custard taste in the hollow centre. They come in assorted flavours such as green tea and different toppings.

I think this location is one of the better Bubble Waffle Cafe in Richmond, I've tried a few around Richmond only, never tried any outside of Richmond. They seem to have tastier soups and give the right amount of meat/veg in the mix&match noodle. I really like their ice lemon tea, doesn't taste watered down like I have experienced in a different location. Good value for food, good portions, tasty, and quick service. Would recommend this Bubble Waffle location in Richmond! Also, ff I remember correctly, they don't accept credit card, only cash or debit.
