One of my favourite place to grab Japanese takeout. The bento boxes are phenomenal. Just don't go too late, they're usually sold out by 2-3pm. Love walking around the store because they bring in rather unique products from Japan like instant Ramen, and other types of snacks. Yes some things are more expensive than regular your regular Superstore.

I recently had the pleasure of stepping into a Japanese supermarket, and I must say, it was a delightful journey into the heart of Japanese culture and culinary wonders. Great place def worth the visit. This place only has sushi, traditional bento boxes but also has stuff like books, stationary, baby items and etc in a small little corner close to the exit. It also has a small baked goods area as well as a few special fresh and frozen grocery items. You get the feeling that it wants to try to include as many Japanese style items as possible, and I think it does it fairly well. It doesn't feel like those asian stores that are really cramped with just stuff, and that's usually dirty. The place is quite clean and well organized. You can clearly tell what aisle is dedicated to what, and what part of the store is dedicated to what. It even has some japanese novels and speciality Japanese cookware like takoyaki pans! In the summer time, they sell beautiful Shiso plants for you to take home and grow! I buy it every year, cause I kill it every year trying to grow it... But im not giving up! Any ways, its a good place to check out if your in the area and want some sushi fast and on the go.
